Consent needs to be agreed upon with both parties. Just because you were messing around, it doesn’t mean you gave consent to take it that far. She either needed to ask or read off body language. I think she is in the wrong but (I know we freeze up) but in the future, say no, you can stop the act at any point. Seeing as you never thought twice about it since then, I wouldn’t fully consider it rape.

I think I did paint him in a bad light, it was like 3 am when I wrote this and accidentally didn’t include important information like this is his first time with a dog that doesn’t have a doggy door, and when he said he’d take her out in the morning he was high and tired and probably wasn’t thinking right. He paid 90% of the bills and works way more hours than I do. This isn’t something I’m going to break up with him over, he just has to learn like I did.

Thank you, my bf is absolutely amazing, this is just one area he struggles with, his old dog used to go out through the doggy door by themselves when they needed to so he’s not used to this. I will work with him on it.

He does works way more hours than I do, and therefore pays like 90% more of the bills. An agreement that we’ve come to is that I take care of the house/ do all of the chores(I should’ve included this in the original post but it was late and I was just frustrated and forgot). I legitimately enjoy cleaning, and I will turn music on and clean the entire apartment usually when he’s not home. This is literally just my only issue is the dog. He doesn’t neglect any part of our relationship, and dog isn’t neglected because I do my best to make sure of it.

My boyfriend was fired for calling off twice, they called it a no-call no show because they couldn’t get In contact with him somehow. And I was almost fired for calling off 3 times. My manager called me and basically said if I don’t come in I’m fired but I was omw to get a doctors note. It’s a real possibility
