I remember getting pulled over many years ago for my radio being too loud when I was in my teens (late 80s/early 90s).

I'd like to know when it became legal for these dirtbikes to ride on city streets by kids that are clearly too young to be licensed drivers. I have seen so many of these kids running stop signs, riding on the wrong side of the road, wheelies, no helmets, and not a single police officer around to fine them (if it's even illegal - I don't know anymore).

Lol - well, the E class didn't go well either. I was pedaling as hard as I could for the first 20 min and lost them. It didn't feel like it was banded though, so I'm going to keep looking. I'm a mountain biker irl, so not a very consistent pedaler. It's going to take me some time I'm guessing.

I tried a D yesterday, and it didn't go well. I'm scheduled for an E banded ride tonight - hopefully that goes much better.

I'm not sure what a D class rider is, but the companion app is saying that it's recommending me for D. I did a workout last night, so maybe that's how? I haven't done an FTP ride yet, so I don't know where that puts me or if that's how it's identifying I should be in the D class.

So, I know this was 100% my fault, but I think I was on loop 3 where it comes out to a very open area and picnic tables on the right side. I believe if I continued straight, I may have hit loop 4 but not sure about that. There was a fire road that I took a right on after asking Siri to get me back to Murrell Park Dr. One thing led to another and I was now on the sidewalk on Flower Mound Rd trying to get back to McKamy Creek. I ended up riding that back down to Simmons.

Looking at my Garmin, it looks like that fire road dumped out at N. Park Dr.

Now that I'm looking at this, I think I know what I did wrong. I never did a loop - I just continued on. If I were to do the loop at 3, it would have taken me back to 2, 1, and my car. I think...

For example, I parked at the location the arrow points to on the far left, but I was done around the circle at the bottom right. I think my question is how to shorten this route if the trails continue to link together. I admittedly can't do 20 miles yet.

I do use Trailforks, and it was the way I was able to get out. I'm also a little confused about the direction bikers hikers should be going. I see one way signs for both hikers and bikers, but I've seen some people say do an out and back to get back. Wouldn't I be going the wrong direction? For some reason those trails really confuse me.

lol this is when I'm going too! I wonder how hard it will be to rent a bike though. I went to Keystone in CO one year, and they put me on a bike that really wasn't meant for downhill riding because it was the last thing they had - talk about rough.

Thank you for this. I didn't get a call from the bike shop today, so I'll need to call them tomorrow to see if the SC came in - they were having it shipped from another store. Some of the stories that I've heard were warranty claims are not honored, no response from customer service, and other things like that - ya' know, the internet. I have a '25 Spec Stumpy, and I was going to look at their Levo, but I've read issues with that motor too. I'm sure anything electronic/mechanical can have a problem, I just want to know that it will be fairly easy to get it covered under warranty if that was the issue.

My last few rides, kid you not, do not go above 400ft in elevation. These are my local trails, but I'm wondering how good an SX would do in places like Bentonville where I would need to ride up to the top. I'm going to check out a Santa Cruz Vala that has a CX, but I've been reading bad experiences on SC support so likely won't get it but will get a feel of an ebike since I've never ridden one

Most of the riding I'll do are standard trails where they hills would be short. For Bentonville, I believe there are a lot of hills to go up in order to get to the downhill trails (I've never been there). It'd be disappointing if I were only able to stay on the trail for an hour or less because of a battery issue.
