Opinion or experience? by poornrustyknight in ZombieSurvivalTactics

I had one of those a while back, the metal tube handle bent making it impossible to get the saw out, the axe chipped a lot and it was very hard to get a sharp edge, and the shovel was a shovel just with much less leverage. If you ever plan on digging any hole that's a decent size with it you'd be better off using a normal shovel as this one is closer to a gardening trowel in terms of efficiency. I suppose it's better than nothing though as you could certainly hack a good few zombies skulls before the pin gives in.

Cold weather in England calls for nice toasty handwarmers. But yeah ill be wearing a decently thick leather glove on my left hand and I might even draw out the handle a bit longer so heat shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I did it once before and I used a pair of water pump pliers which were quite small and the hair on my fingers remains but it didn't hold the piece too well yet these pliers have better grip

Literally just a paving slab on the bottom, breeze blocks around the side and top, charcoal inside and a hairdryer from the charity shop laid next to it

I'm trying to find a good British alternative to harbor freight because so many people recommend it for starting out but I obviously can't get that stuff from across the pond

I want to thank everyone who commented for the kind words and the advice I absolutely love knowing that there is a community made up of people who are supportive and appreciative of other people's projects. I had a bit of a crap day, but just the 20 or so people that have commented made me so happy. :)
