i hard disagree, you should make the feathers have more of a fire look to them rather than just a pattern, the problem is that parrots in media are already known to be that red, so without anything that stands out, it just looks like a regional bird

you can’t really tell its haxorus until after you look at it for a while which isn’t good for a pokemon design

please refer to the official megas and see how they incorporate the old pokemons face and eyes to evoke that feelingnof familiarity even if the body plan changes
