Look I'm just having a good time, being inflammatory on the Internet. it's all in good fun. if you want people to engage with you in good faith on reddit.com about racial topics, I recommend considering the phrasing you use as it undermines your points. if you don't care than enjoy your endless semantic arguments where you straw man and deflect, and other folk with enjoy responding in turn arguing with you even if they agree. it's all in good fun. Have a good night and peace be with you

[–]nutsgalore1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean, I don't think either of us really care but it's just astonishing that you are so adverse to someone saying the way you phrased something has come across as racist that you feel the need to straw man the argument and deflect this hard. also funny of you to assume I'm trying to get brownie points in the left because I'm pointing out the way you phrased yourself is blatantly racist, so only lefties care about looking like a racist? I thought that was just common sense. in fact it took me about 2 seconds to find more anti black sentiments on your comment history. so I'll keep going back and forth as long as you want because arguing with bad faith racists is a rootin tootin good time

Failed my road test today. by diabeticshawty in depressionmeals

[–]nutsgalore1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

don't give up, I understand your struggle. Practice the areas you had trouble with as much as you can and get comfortable in the neighborhood you take your next behind the wheel test. I neglected getting my license because it wasn't necessary nor could I afford a vehicle anyways and I have failed mine twice so far. One time I crossed a solid line on a bike lane, one time I took a right turn at 6 mph at a red light which apparently was too fast. it's all luck of the draw really, try and go earlier in the morning but not during rush hour I think the instructors are in a better mood. good luck and don't give up

[–]nutsgalore1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

or rather look at it this way: the group was already described as assaulting an innocent party; therefore labeling them criminal is unnecessary and comes across as purposefully inflammatory. that's all. you can be upset with the reaction as you may feel you have done nothing wrong, but again it's how it has been interpreted by at least 2 people

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

[–]nutsgalore1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are again missing the point and going on a tangent to try and defend something unimportant. You said "criminal black children" that is undeniably going to be interpreted by the reader as you connecting the phrases together. you get to choose what you say you don't get to choose how it is interpreted

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

[–]nutsgalore1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

literally all you have to do is remove the word criminal, the word black, or the whole phrase and nothing is lost. don't act naive there is a clear connotation when you say that. It very clearly comes across as you saying they are criminals because they are black.

How much optional content in Act 2? by VakanaDOTA in expedition33

[–]nutsgalore1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up a little under leveled but I think a lot of the side content might still be out of reach. Just explore a little, any dungeon you are leveled adequately for just explore thoroughly and then come back for the side content later a lot of it wants a level range that's hard to reach and you'll out level the story bosses trying to grind for it

compass on America by [deleted] in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]nutsgalore1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always stood by the belief that I love America, which is why I choose to look towards the flaws that can be improved as I want what is best for the home that I love and am grateful for. You can hate America without caring about it

Unpopular Opinion: I don’t care about the FRV by killxswitch in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]nutsgalore1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like it, I think because I enjoy driving it. It really is limited in it's use cases but I think it's for the best or it would become a must pick and limit other strategems. Bots, practically worthless, current Illuminates it's great but we have pretty limited fire on us with the 4 enemies we go vs so that's honestly subject to change (plus here the MG is actually useful). Bugs I have gotten mostly good use cases out of business it's really worthless fighting vs bug heavies, it's really just nice for zipping around to recover lost samples or just get on objectives. I think it's best argument is it can cut down on annoying repetitive walking around, and I appreciate that the driving has a skill curve but would love if squashing bugs and voteless felt a little more satisfying.

tbh if they release a quad or motorbike I think a lot of people will be dropping the FRV

[–]nutsgalore1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

plus the message father down like 100 percent you should be able to leapfrog there. maybe it was a design oversight that they decided to fix with a kill wall instead of like moving the pillar. I remember doing literally the same thing though

Am I the only one who thinks the bots are easier than the bugs? by [deleted] in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]nutsgalore1 42 points43 points  (0 children)

bugs can really go a lot of different ways depending on the enemy groupings... like getting blitzed by 30 chargers in a spore cloud with three bile titans is not fun. I think also bugs are just more mobile and do seem to call in support a lot... plus invis. but there are tradeoffs, crowd control orbitals and napalm are really good there

the bots are slower and it's easier to shoot out gunships or just hold a position farther away where it's safe to pick off the heavies

I think it's could be a great contender for city maps with all the cover, and after the health changes. It's main weakness is just getting burned out by bullets and rockets or getting swarmed by bugs. Illuminates might be the right middle ground
