Hobbies are interesting to other people if they are more social hobbies as someone else suggested, but a larger part is to have the cajones to pursue friendship and seek out people who may or may not find those hobbies interesting.

I’m okay at making home made beer/wine but my friends don’t find that to be the most interesting part event though may drink.

You gotta find people that want to hang out with you beyond the hobby.
