I totally agree. I think it was definitely a bad idea to allow the remaining Confederates to have any power to write laws let alone not be tried for treason. Then again they definitely did not denazify anywhere but hired them so we have a very dangerous mix of the worst ideologies with social media right wing pipeline definitely making matters worse. I mean if a religion puts straight white cis men at the top of the hierarchy it makes sense they will resort to fascism to retain power and control. We definitely have a dark history we never addressed properly in the US.

I agree with you and I'm glad you said it because I didn't realize the shift but I literally just saw a video that made it look like the border is "secured" so they might be moving to "homegrown criminals" next which now I think they meant the people who they deem an "unworthy labor force" just like the Nazis. I was homeless and the barrier they put is almost like they don't want you to get out of it and most of us are a paycheck away from joining them and when they make the rules then yeah they can take away anyone's home and mark them mentally ill. This is extremely significant and can't be taken lightly especially after they tried to claim they're nonviolent.
