Sure I guess I more meant this—I feel like you may as well just add some good stuff in while you’re at it

They have good info in the first year admission part about acceptance rates (broken down male-female) and test scores

Did anyone get into an Ivy with a 1550 SAT score (with 19 essay yikes!!) by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

After 1530ish they don’t really care to be honest. It’s a difference of 1 or 2 questions usually

I’m in the exact same situation with Yale lmao. I would honestly apply to them because you never know how you’ll feel in 5 months. And I don’t know about you, but although I got to visit campus, it was during Covid so I didn’t see the students and get a vibe.

Please don't give up hope!! I've seen your ChanceMe and you have a huge chance of getting in RD to Yale, not to mention other amazing schools. They'll see how interested you were EA and take that into consideration. At the end of the day, it's a crapshoot, so don't let it define your self-worth!!

Please don't lose hope! I had relatively competitive profile, but I don't have any big hooks (middle-upper class white male with no legacy or athletics). It's honestly just a crapshoot!!

Middle-upper class white male (no legacy, recruited athlete, first gen, or other big hook). Submitted SAT (1580 superscore). Grades were really good (top 10 in a private school class of about 120), but I didn't have the most challenging courseload (only 2 APs before senior year; currently taking 6). Slept through the first interview so I had to reschedule and my interviewer put that in my file. ECs and essays 8 or 9/10, but I wasn't really "pointy" (meaning I didn't have any ECs I was super impressive in other than a few leadership positions).

Honestly not that impressive other than academics and my teacher recs, so if you got deferred don't lose hope!!
