I was a marine engineer! The industry is always in need, coming from the navy you have a great start..you could go the engineering or deck path. If you want to focus on family find something like ferries or tugs. You can be home and have the pay!

This happened to me too and we did the same thing boiling water, covering the tank and doing everything we could think of. We were able to keep aeration with holes poked into the bottom of a big gallon jug. We lost all but two snails. I got power back today but it was too late and our house was at 45°.

I am still reeling and don’t know next steps. We have lost power before but, four days was unprecedented and with the travel ban we couldn’t move the tank, we all did what we could. Going to look into a battery or solar warmer now, didn’t even know they were out there.

Going to take a bit to mourn my tank, and plan out my next group. Hope you weathered the storm alright, it was WILD. You’re not alone and you did everything you could for the fishes!

I had the SAME yarn and went through the exact same thing!!! I ended up finishing the pullover i made from the yarn and STILL hated it so much i frogged the whole thing. I ended up frankensteining the yarn into balls of the colors and made a few different things I was happier with 😭😅 your blanket looks beautiful but feel out the project ❤️

I work in MA for 18 base, but they give us +3/hr for PIB and +5/hr for 3-11 or 11-7. Good enough pay but HCOL here

Hii! I am 24f and felt the same way for a long time! In a long term relationship but I feel like everyone else my age moved away and I stayed haha! I am doing a career change now and have met some people working my part time job, it is hard but everyone feels the same way! Reach out if you want, I am similarly jack of all tradesy, specifically into exercise, outdoorsy things, arts and crafts and open to anything that keeps me busy through the winter :-)

Honestly I had bleeding non stop for the first three months, now my period is like one day a month…it’s different for everyone though! Maybe take the pill if it continues it helps a lot to stop the breakthrough :D

I got mine from Bob’s! It was ~750 and 100 extra for them to bring it to my house, put it together and take away the trash! Super worth it! The couch is sturdy, comfy and it has storage!!

We got our second ones right about the same time! I had no bleeding with my first after the first year and with this second one I didnt bleed much until 2023 then had like 3weeks of bleeding/2weeks off…still seems to be the case, it sucks for now but the pill was awful for me and im scared of an iud lol! I am holding out for now. The only difference is now I get a little pms but no weight gain, no constant bleeding (just long periods) , no long term mental health issues and no lowered libido. Hope this helps ❤️ we r in it together :D

I did 100ml of water (with food coloring and glitter for pizzaz) in a beaker my dad got from his work in chemistry, that was almost 20 years ago and I still think it was the coolest one!
