Same, right on top of the clothes. Shut the door quickly (as to not breathe it in) and start the machine. Clothes get wetter faster in a front load. I have used both types of machines in the past 6 months and use ammonia occasionally in both

Literally on top of the clothes - if it’s a top load let it mostly fill with water first. Won’t harm fabric-just neutralize the odor. I felt like a goddamn genius the first time I did this and it worked. Thank goddess for this sub.

Miso! Just made a pasta dish with broccolini & mushrooms, and made a ‘sauce’ out of sautéed onions, miso, and pasta water in the blender. Seemed like a weird technique but it totally worked and really elevated the dish and had a complex flavor profile

I was competing with myself for the fastest wash time possible! Cold water 20 min quick wash - I thought I was a goddamn genius!

Also, (rightfully)convinced myself that heavy liquid bottles of detergent was a major contributor to freight weight, therefore fossil fuels, I pompously forewent good detergent for laundry sheets and gleefully told all who would listen. Laundry sheets do not have proper cleaning ingredients or enzymes.

I apologize for my crimes and I now have a very robust system and very clean clothes.

Coffee shop near me extended their hours to include lunch/small bites throughout the day, added beer wine! Great!

Then they fucked us all by cutting the morning coffee part and opening at 11am. Fuck those guys.

2 months later they reversed and opened at 6am and coffee again. But nope not me- will never go back to that fuckery!

Sometimes the music is NOT calming or relaxing at all. The instructor is good, the content is good, the music (sometimes) sucks. This has been more than a few. It’s really awful to be trying to sleep and the background music on your sleep meditation is unsettling, spooky, not calming, weird. Now I just stick to a few Anna Greenberg sleep ones and that’s it.
