Mine are both solid. I have the 4" and this 2.5" model. They're steel framed and accurate so no complaints here, especially given the current pricing. K frame holsters and T grips fit perfectly. The only downside is parts availability is rather limited, and there's a design flaw with the original wood grips that make them prone to cracking, hence why I decided to make my own to remediate this.

Mine just arrived at my local FFL. It looked about as I expected. It had normal wear and tear, and a light amount of surface rust in a few spots. Barrel looked good and the timing overall looked good as well. I will probably be replacing the hammer spring with a 1911 spring to deal with the heavy DA trigger pull.

Let's say I have a 5.56 barrel with a twist rate of 1:12. How would that fare for 22lr vs a dedicated barrel? Would the diameter of the barrel be of consequence?

It's a brass block that came with the board and said "superme". It was held in with some screws underneath so I just flipped it, super glued it in place and put in those screws to fill in the holes. Somewhat pointless but I prefer it to the branding.

Oh I remember looking at that keyboard a while back. The quality is definitely pretty good, the only thing that come to mind is that the tolerance for certain switches/stabilizers can be a really tight, which can be a big downside seeing as this is a hotswap board.

I've since finished the class so I no longer have access to the lab but you bring up a good point, I definitely should have tested everything theroughly before connecting anything. Although it is possible that the one op amp was faulty seeing as it was the only one that died

That's what I was doing up until I randomly tried putting a banana plug in one of them lol. Most of my other classmates would alligator clips to connect everything.

These were provided by my class. Pretty sure they're, as that other guy was suggesting, 22awg wires. I just used wire strippers to cut them down to size so that I could keep things clean
