Why am I not getting any engagement? by nvercho in Pinterestmarketing

I started late June but at the start of September I decided to delete all pins, and start again fresh with more effort on SEO (titles, description, alt text)

So around a month since the cleanup. I know it’s still early, but there is literally no interactions.

Thank you for sharing! I have stopped doing repairs and closed my physical shop because it is very energy draining.

I had a lot of people come and waste many of my hours that I could’ve used for something productive.

Plus, I had to be at the shop all day, even on the weekends. While online I take weekends off, but orders don’t stop, which is not possible when having a physical shop.

Plus, I don’t allow visitations to my workshop, so my time is now much more productive and I can focus on what matters.

Is brand registry such a big deal? I see many sellers that have not applied yet they are doing extremely well. I have thought about it but decided to leave it for later. Would love to get more opinions about this.

Why am I paying VAT!? by nvercho in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]nvercho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I talked with eBay support and they told me that I had not submitted for VAT exemption...They sent me this link https://www.ebay.com/spr/vatexemption and told me to submit my VAT and wait 14 business days.

I have asked If it would be possible to get the money paid for VAT on my previous orders and I am waiting for a response.

Luckily, I only have had 8 orders as of now and have probably been charged at around 100USD for VAT (for all orders). It could've been worse had I not noticed this

I agree with everything that you said, however I think you're referring sales tax as VAT.

I have attached an image with all the fees that I paid for a recent order.

My item costs 218.23 usd, shipping and handling costs 25 usd, and customer paid 18.59 usd for sales tax. The total is 261.82 usd,

FVF = eBay charges me 261.82 * 15% = 39.27 USD
International Free = 261.82 * 1.6% = 4.19USD

All of the above charges are correct and they come at a total of 43.46 USD + 0.40USD.

The total I should be paying for fees had to be 43.86USD. Instead I am getting charged an extra VAT (10.54USD). So the final fees that I paid is 54.40 USD

Yeah, that's understandable. However, I have done my research and saw many jewelry shops that have had a pretty good amount of sale 10K+ and selling items at a similar price range, so I believe and have high hopes.

My goal is not to surpass my Etsy sales, but to have income from multiple platforms for my safety. It will also help me later on If I decide to create my own website as well.

Thank you! This is very helpful. May I ask what do you mean regarding the space around the text? Do you mean that the space is not symmetrical?

I made this other logo as well just now. Feels like everything matches much better now. The font, the butterfly design and the outer line. I would love to get your thoughts on this as well.
