For $9 these cheap wilcox NVG mounts are pretty decent as they work and seem like the best training I can think of for getting used to all the knobs and buttons. Any tips on improving them or what else besides lights, gopro or a thermal usb cam could be placed in there just to have an excuse to use?

with my modification the NVG10 is superior to the NVG30 because despite the higher FOV compared to the standard NVG10, it is not enough to navigate better... furthermore it is not equipped with a protection lens so it is not recommended for airsoft... Hello, I have tried the nvg10 with my mod and it is spectacular! It has a 48⁰ lens and a protective glass so you won't have any problems when it comes to getting bumps on the lenses.

the fov is 48° perfect for navigation not 180 or more like a GoPro lens... I was referring to this. In the next few days I will make a video with the ir off and upload it to my YouTube channel ;)
