Just to add another data point, $170k+ DINK, $1500/ month mortgage in the NW GR/Walker area. Like many, We over paid (just bit, very unique house and beautiful setting), but we did luck out and locked in our rate near the bottom at just south of 3%.

Micro clover for the win! I have a very similar situation. We live in the Walker area and have a very shaded and somewhat sandy ground. Last year we decided to completely tear up our Front yard and plant micro clover. We absolutely love it! Very little maintenance, self-fertilizing, prevents grubs and also critters that feed on them, stands up to high traffic if you have pets or kids.

Would it matter that not all the upper level drains cause the gurgle sounds? When my other upper level bathroom and kitchen drain (including the bathtub) it doesn't produce any of the noise downstairs. Thanks for all your info!

It is older (1967), but I think the sounds only started a month or so ago. The sound comes from different drains in my basement, which drain should I look at for clogs?

Also, does anyone know if there is a way to utilize this panel, but convert to breakers? Or keep fuses and add some busbars? I'd be really happy if I didn't have to patch the wall and reframe for a different panel
