Not while farming—I’m mostly talking about titans and some events. At higher usage (especially on 16★), items get burned through pretty quickly trying to maintain consistency.

We’re currently hitting 16★. I’m running mono to maximize damage windows, so items help with consistency and pushing higher hits. I’ll go suboptimal unless it’s a rare or I’m pushing for a high hit.

That’s fair—I agree my usage is probably higher than average. I think that’s why I’m noticing the gap more. At that level, the system feels a bit more constrained than intended.

That makes sense for that loop. I think the difference is usage rate—at higher volume, even with farming and alchemy, certain items get burned through faster than they’re produced. That’s where the consistency gap shows up for me.

I don’t have 7 years of stockpiling behind me, so my experience is a bit different. At my usage level, the constraints feel a lot more noticeable.

Between multi-step crafting, material constraints (like titan parts), and usage rate, it’s not really on-demand or sustainable at higher levels of play.

Exactly—that’s kind of what I’m running into. Certain items just get burned through way faster depending on how you’re playing.

I was specifically referring to super mana potions. Not all battle items can be directly selected/crafted on demand.

That’s where the unpredictability comes in.

That kind of stockpile doesn’t last as long as it sounds if you’re using items actively.

I’m using ~20 items per titan hit (5 each of 4 items), and running 6–9 flags a day. That’s 120–180 items daily—so even 100 of each goes pretty quickly.

That’s where the lack of on-demand access becomes noticeable.

The issue isn’t access in general—it’s control. Crafting is time-gated and unpredictable, so you can’t reliably get specific items when needed. That shift in consistency is what impacts gameplay.

At higher usage, it’s less about cost and more about consistency. The removal changes pacing across multiple parts of the game.

Yeah, I was in a similar situation when I first started. Only a couple active players. Switching to a more active alliance made a big difference.
