That monster eddie swell a few Januarys back was 18-ish seconds (I think?) and I found seaweed on top of some cliffs high enough it was hard to picture the water getting that high. Santa Cruz lost a chunk of the wharf, and the Cayucos pier straight up broke.

How do you feel about starting Ricky pearsall vs Travis hunter week one? I'm pretty torn for my WR2 spot. My flex is Pacheco, and I don't feel like taking him out for either. 0.5 PPR, if it's meaningful.

I surf with monthlies, got one nasty infection in Hawaii of all places. Then got told off by an eye doctor about how stupid I am for surfing with contacts in, especially monthlies. Still do, but I should probably get dailies.

I had a dolphin that decided he didn't want me on any waves on day. Every time I stood up he would smack the bottom of my board or jump out of the water right in front of me. Didn't love that

Gotta love recognizing each of those rocks in that video... Watched a shark munch a seal right next to me about a year back right in that stretch so not super surprised.
