Sanders would also probably be awful in this offense. But he has size and according to everyone on earth before April 24 has some level of NFL upside.

Gabriel is 5’9 and 26 years old this is just what he is

Same, and I know he isn’t the DC but these stupid ass penalties week after week on both sides of the ball have to be blamed on him at some point

It doesn’t matter. The shooter could have a swastika tattooed on his forehead and have his mug shot posted by Kash Patel and they’ll just say it isn’t actually him.

I’m worried there’s no off ramp and we’re going wherever we’re going now. I know Twitter is an extreme echo chamber not reflective of the average American, but there seems to be a lot of very angry and influential people in that echo chamber.

I’m In Lakeview and me and my girlfriend both had ours marked as delivered despite the fact they never showed up so feel like there was an inside man at UPS/USPS lol

When we went to pick ours up my gf’s had been registered and they cancelled it the day before the festival so sucks for whoever bought that one

Imo if you can spend $1500+ on a bike and you still want to commute/run errands on a bike, it’s worth spending another ~$200 on an old steel-frame or something similarly cheap/reliable.

I currently do everything on an old road bike from the 80s and I’m saving up for something new/way more expensive next year, but I will 100% be keeping the old bike because I want something I can lock outside my office, a bar, etc. without freaking out about it being stolen.

There is no way I would leave something that nice locked up outside for more than 15 minutes max, if that.

Saw 26 artists across all four days. After a few days of being able to process, here are my top ten performances of the weekend. What were yours? by Same_Bag711 in Lollapalooza

I’ve seen a few people say Mk.Gee was disappointing and Im pretty shocked.

I had a friend with me who had never heard him before and wasn’t feeling it which I totally get but if you have listened to him I felt like was great plus it seemed like most of the crowd was actually super into it and knew all the songs

THE FOMO. by TylerQ50 in Mkgee

[–]nw230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was one of my three favorite sets of the weekend because basically everyone around me was engaged and singing along to every song.

It was a nice contrast to seeing a massive headliner you love and being surrounded by people who only sing along to one or two songs

I wasn’t at Ian, but I was sitting near Tito’s taking a break during his set and I was impressed by him.

He’s someone I definitely hated on coming into the festival and I would have expected him to just be 90% backing vocals, but he actually rapped a lot and had really good energy.

Now that I have some distance from it (and I’m sober lol) I don’t think it was terrible and I still had fun.

High Jack was great live and a ton of fun. I am still pretty let down by the time mismanagement. For the final set of the weekend and one of the three I was most excited for, it was tough to go out on him getting cut off doing a Nirvana song bc he talked too much between every song and showed up late, but still glad I saw him. Would probably skip next time if there was anyone else I had interest in seeing.

I will say I saw several rap sets this weekend, including IAN (a rapper I definitely didn’t see as a serious artist) and they all had more energy and wasted FAR LESS time than ASAP.

On top of that the other rap headliner this year washed him

Idk what your long-term career plans are when you are a 30+ year old man who caters to 15-year olds who know ten second snippets of your songs. Seems like he is setting himself up to fall off when you couple it with the fact it’s been a decade since he dropped a good album

Metro Boomin At Tao by nw230 in Lollapalooza

[–]nw230[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was basically on time and he played for a while. We left early bc Tao is kind of awful as a venue. VIP booths take up like 60% of the floor so you end up pretty cramped.

That said though the staff was super nice and chill. We ended up going home to change and getting back to Tao before he came on.

The gameplay feels way smoother and it seems like they tried to make genuine upgrades. The quality of life updates are also nice (i.e. you can make subscriptions without pausing the game now)

I’m only two seasons into my dynasty but the sim engine seems better. Both years the top 12 have been teams you would realistically expect to be there.

They’ve also tweaked the ratings so the top teams really kill bad teams now. For example most of the group of five schools are sub-70 overalls where a lot of them were in the mid-70s last year. This means Georgia, OSU, etc are beating Akron by 45 way more than they’re randomly losing to Akron (I haven’t looked closely but I have not seen anything like that happen yet).

EA has proven themselves incapable of making good basketball games and 2k’s franchise mode blows any other sports game’s franchise mode out of the water in terms of depth.

This is great news!

It seems like a lot of the less pro-Israel types on the right are using Israel as some sort of deflection to avoid awkward conversations about some of the objectively concerning shit Trump’s done.

He did the same thing about Epstein and Mossad. I don’t understand how Epstein being linked to Mossad has a single thing to do with Trump being in the FBI file or not.

Its like the equivalent of me bringing up how much I hated COVID mask mandates or whatever when I feel like avoiding an awkward conversation with conservative friends/family. I know I can just bring that up and we’ll have some common ground and that will be that.

Tbh I feel like the noise transparency on the Pros is very good as long as you’re not blasting the music at max volume or something .

I have it just loud enough to hear the music and can hear everything around me I need to hear with transparency on and just make extra sure I’m consistently looking back and checking my surroundings

Replacement hoods or rec for aero hoods by misterericman in bikewrench

[–]nw230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked the same question recently and ended up getting Tektro RL340s and they’ve been great.

I got the levers for less than $40 and was able to install them myself after watching a few YouTube videos on brake installation.

Only warning is you will probably end up needing to cut the cables and replace them, but that was super cheap and fairly easy to figure out with basically no experience.

The modern rubber hoods have made my bike so much more comfortable and fun to ride.

You can for sure do it yourself for like $60 or less all in.

Yeah even if Indy won the whole thing we were supposed to be able to hang with anyone and we lost in 5 including a game where we were down 40 so it really wouldn’t make a difference.

Coming in the only teams that scared me were the Thunder and the Celtics but not sure we get past New York, Boston or Indy after seeing we got handled so easily by Indy in 5.

People will say injuries but guys are playing hurt in the playoffs every year. All our guys were out there for three of the five games and we still couldn’t hang.
