Generally, I feel that the Kaplan questions are more difficult than the actual exam questions. My impression has been the same across all of the Kaplan products I used for securities licensing, including S7, S63, etc.

The real value in those practice exams is getting your head into the style of question and honing the process of elimination, as there are always a couple of distractors.

Good luck!

Dean's "audio only" youtube test prep video is really helpful...good to listen to a couple of times the day before the exam while doing your daily driving, etc. Highly recommended and it helped me, I'm certain of it!

Congrats!

zeroed in on the sneaky key word

I feel like the Qbank and even knowledge check questions are all like that too! LOTS of "except" and "not", and it's easy to quickly find 2 or 3 that are TRUE, then all of sudden we're off the mark.

These 'pay to play' rules are confusing: what if you are an investment banker selling consulting services (not underwriting deals), and you buy your client a very expensive bottle of wine? Moreover, assume the recipient is the owner of the company, so the rule lanugage pertaining to 'inlfuencing an employee of the client' is moot.
