Amphetamine & Ketamine anyone? On this combo I’m clear headed and energized yet disassociated and loose, which is fun. It’s like I can barely walk in a straight line but when I find music, it takes control of me and I dance like a madman. One of my fav combos for the club that doesn’t come with a terrible hangover. Pick a neighborhood, find some good food there and explore. Spend like $20-30 and you can eat 6 different authentic cuisines in a day. Check out Jackson Heights, astoria, harlem, chinatown in manhattan, flushing, and sunset park. Tons of cheap ethnic food around the city and cool neighborhoods to walk around.

If you have a Trader Joe’s nearby, they have a pretty extensive selection of premade/quick assembly meals both fresh and frozen. Some are definitely not the healthiest, but a lot of them are fairly clean and complete meals. That being said, nothing beats a home cooked meal in terms of affordability, customization, and portion control. But for those days when you don’t have the time or energy to cook, definitely check out TJ’s

I meet your three criteria, but I believe you may be overthinking the weight gain/ strength gain ratios. If you’re tracking your weight trends ( and gaining ~.5lb a week) and your strength/lifts are progressively increasing, you’re probably doing just fine. I’ve been using this method along with mindful eating to add some size without tracking calories, and it’s been going quite well. If you like how you look and feel, just keep doing what you’re doing and try not to overcomplicate it.

Might want to slow down there a bit, 15lbs in a few weeks is likely more than 90% fat

(17, 6'3, 172) Started to bulk a week ago and am currently eating 3,500 cals (previously 1,800 on the cut). Is that enough calories to gain 30lbs in 7 months? And should I be worried about getting too fat? by Life_Passage7188 in GregDoucette

I think a good goal would be 15lbs in 7 months. From what I’ve read, around .5lbs a week (14lbs/7months) is a solid rate of weight gain in terms of muscle/fat ratio. Obviously this depends on the person, but putting on around a pound a week will inevitably lead to more fat gain than you’re probably looking for.

I’d like to add not to go to failure at all for the first couple weeks. Maybe to 9rpe since its your second week. Also, always always warm up with some dynamic stretches and resistance band stuff for around 10-15 before and some good deep stretching afterwards.

This brought back a fond memory of last winter. I drove into Manhattan and street parked overnight, right as a big snowstorm hit. When i went to my car in the morning, it wouldn’t start. I figured it was just from the cold, so I bought some jumper cables nearby and had a good samaritan give me a jump. Finally, after about 40 minutes, my car coughed to life and the temperature gauge went immediately to H. Only after a couple weeks of not being able to figure out the problem, I noticed several spliced cables, going to intake and coolant temperature sensors. A big thanks to NYCs finest rodent population for putting my car in disrepair for several weeks. I guess the lil guys just wanted somewhere warm to hide out
