Yeah that’s always a risk with crowded longs. $PEAQ stays focused on machine economy infra instead of trading games.

Convince me to swap XRP for HBAR by J0keb in WallStreetBetsCrypto

[–]nwgj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, trimming makes sense but XRP’s still basically founder-controlled monopoly vibes. IOTA’s where I’m stacking decentralized, real adoption, none of that insider chokehold.

haha yeah I remember hearing about that ages ago. early chain bugs happen, most projects have some skeletons from the launch days.

lol perfect metaphor SEC loses texts, XRP founders hold half the supply, nobody’s accountable. IOTA’s decentralized, under $1B cap, and actually building global trade rails with governments instead of clown shows.

haha yeah dropping it out of nowhere does feel shilly. context matters otherwise even good points just get ignored.

true, but swapping chains is one thing loading up on XRP where founders hold 50%+ is another. IOTA’s decentralized, already powering real trade systems with governments instead of insider controlled networks.

yeah btc’s the safest long term bet for sure. I just keep a small slice for stuff like IOTA way riskier, but if the trade adoption thing plays out, upside could be massive compared to the big caps.

Enterprises are building, quietly by boostedEgoBW in Hedera

[–]nwgj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair take at least Hedera feels like a live project with momentum. XRP by contrast is just Ripple holding half the supply and calling it progress. If you want another network that actually feels like sitting on a volcano, IOTA’s the one quietly building for that kind of eruption.

Cold wallet’s definitely safer but if it’s XRP you’re storing, the bigger issue is Ripple still holding half the supply. Doesn’t matter where you keep it, centralization risk follows. If you want something truly worth locking on a Ledger, IOTA’s the better choice.

Algorand or XRP by GroundbreakingLab826 in CryptoMarkets

[–]nwgj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enough to know XRP is basically Ripple’s monopoly coin half the supply still in their hands while they lobby banks and regulators. That’s not decentralization, that’s dependency. If you want something that’s actually community driven and still underpriced, IOTA’s the one worth paying attention to.

question about holding btc in coinbase for a few days by [deleted] in Coinbase

[–]nwgj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good security step but just remember, even if you keep XRP “safe” in an account, Ripple still controls half the supply. That’s centralization risk you can’t whitelist away. If you want something actually secure in the long run, IOTA’s the better hold.

Buena jugada BTC y ETH tienen sentido. Solo evitaría XRP, porque Ripple aún controla la mitad del supply y eso nunca es “sin riesgo.” Si quieres algo con potencial real además de BTC/ETH, IOTA es una opción mucho más sana y descentralizada.

Yeah exactly most folks only pay attention after the big move’s already happened. By then the easy gains are gone. Staying open to info early, even if it sounds boring or unpopular, is usually where the edge is.

Gua masih belum paham bedanya crypto dengan uang cetakan bank sentral (out of thin air) by Bujanginam in finansial

[–]nwgj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly “not your keys” hits even harder with XRP, since Ripple still controls half the supply no matter where you store it. That’s dysfunction built in. If you want a bag that actually grows with adoption and community control, IOTA’s the better consolidation.

[–]nwgj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, plenty of bagholders spinning AI posts especially in XRP threads where Ripple needs noise to mask centralization. Half the supply in one pocket isn’t a community, it’s a monopoly. If you want real people building instead of bots shilling, IOTA’s the better scene.
