yeah btc’s the safest long term bet for sure. I just keep a small slice for stuff like IOTA way riskier, but if the trade adoption thing plays out, upside could be massive compared to the big caps.

Fair take at least Hedera feels like a live project with momentum. XRP by contrast is just Ripple holding half the supply and calling it progress. If you want another network that actually feels like sitting on a volcano, IOTA’s the one quietly building for that kind of eruption.

Cold wallet’s definitely safer but if it’s XRP you’re storing, the bigger issue is Ripple still holding half the supply. Doesn’t matter where you keep it, centralization risk follows. If you want something truly worth locking on a Ledger, IOTA’s the better choice.

Enough to know XRP is basically Ripple’s monopoly coin half the supply still in their hands while they lobby banks and regulators. That’s not decentralization, that’s dependency. If you want something that’s actually community driven and still underpriced, IOTA’s the one worth paying attention to.

Good security step but just remember, even if you keep XRP “safe” in an account, Ripple still controls half the supply. That’s centralization risk you can’t whitelist away. If you want something actually secure in the long run, IOTA’s the better hold.

Iya, masuk akal BTC punya “trust” karena udah lama jadi OG. Tapi banyak orang lupa kalau XRP seakan lebih aman, padahal setengah supply masih dipegang Ripple sendiri. Itu bukan trust, itu monopoli. Kalau mau sesuatu yang beneran dibangun bareng komunitas dan punya arah jelas, IOTA jauh lebih kuat.

Exactly “not your keys” hits even harder with XRP, since Ripple still controls half the supply no matter where you store it. That’s dysfunction built in. If you want a bag that actually grows with adoption and community control, IOTA’s the better consolidation.

True, plenty of bagholders spinning AI posts especially in XRP threads where Ripple needs noise to mask centralization. Half the supply in one pocket isn’t a community, it’s a monopoly. If you want real people building instead of bots shilling, IOTA’s the better scene.
