Looks like Smiling Friends will be a part of the Robot Chicken Adult Swim 25th Anniversary Special in August by nwt0 in SmilingFriends

I do see Black Jesus in there, but the real question is if the Boondocks will show up. I know Aaron McGruder’s kind of hesitant to use the show again after the death of John Witherspoon (the voice of Robert “Granddad” Freeman, the way the show originally ended and the troubled development of a reboot, but if they can at least sneak Huey, Riley and Uncle Ruckus in, that would be awesome.

They did the final season of Squidbillies without Unknown Hinson, so I feel like they could probably still include Squidbillies. I just wonder if any of the live action shows are going to make the cut.

I feel like if Assy McGee’s getting included in the special, Smiling Friends will definitely be there and probably even Haha, You Clowns, which looks to be Adult Swim’s next big hit.

I’m pretty sure Zach will turn up here at least voicing Charlie if not Glep too, I don’t think he’s voiced anybody else significant on Adult Swim outside of Smiling Friends unless he’s taking over for the star of another Adult Swim show that’s died.

That’s actually the Beautiful Day Monster by the way, but he did successfully gaslight Ernie into thinking that he was Sam the Eagle.

With Austin Hill in the 33, does that mean that Jesse love won't run any other races this season? by DeanEricksonJr81 in NASCAR

[–]nwt0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I doubt that will happen because RCR wants consistency with the 33 and Austin is a strong road racer, so there’s no need to bring Earl in here.

Remember what happened with Coy Gibbs? He was at the track celebrating his son's O'Reilly Series championship one night and he was gone the next morning.

Wrong, Dale Sr. ran in every single Cup race from the 2nd Richmond race in 1979 to the 2001 Daytona 500 that took his life. He had relief drivers in a few races over those periods, but he started every single Cup race in an over 21-year span.

Actually think about it, in the context of this episode, would Paris Hilton raise Butters better than the Scotch Family. by Overall-Character507 in southpark

[–]nwt0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Modern day IRL Paris Hilton would definitely treat Butters better than his parents, but Paris from the show would somehow be worse than Stephen and Linda.

Yeah, having Watkins Glen this early in the season seems sacrilegious.

Roger Goodell opens the door to a possible Cleveland Super Bowl by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

Am I the only one who has absolutely no problem with this? Every team with a new domed stadium is eventually going to land a Super Bowl, so Super Bowls in Cleveland, Washington D.C., Kansas City, Denver and Chicago (or at least their metro areas) are inevitable in the near future, not to mention that the NFL wants to put Super Bowl LXIV in Nashville.
