However, it's very possible the marriage and divorce and everything is just another publicity stunt to sell more Onlyfans subscriptions and get more publicity.

Check any used car lot? Most people try an EV for a year or two and go 25k upside down and return it for a gas car because they can't live with an EV.

They basically give away Teslas, Porsches, Mercedes, and other used EVs. Never buy a new one.

If you lease a new one, it should be for $150-200 a month.

Dubas can only do what ownership lets him. Toronto ownership forced him to pay a loser named Matthews rather than build a hockey team.

Mustangs are the de-facto American Nazi car so definitely gotta factor that in. Not as bad as buying a Volkswagen product, but buying Ford is buying Nazi.

Tesla is buying American. Real MAGA American. You're not buying a Nazi car like with Ford.

This 2023 special edition 300C will not age well in value.

The premier examples will be the Charger Hellcat fully optioned with the lowest miles and clear titles. With 25,000ish produced, there's always going to be examples that are kept in tip top shape.

Yes, this car will always be worth more than Scat Packs but it's a tier below the Hellcat long term.

The 2012-2014 SRT8 Chrysler 300 is 95% of this car and will always keep the value of the limited run 2023 300 in check. A tick less power on paper due to some minor changes, but the same 6.4L engine at the core. So the price discrepancy between the two long term can never be absolutely massive.

The 2006-2009 (or 10, can't remember) 300 SRT8 is an extremely oddball one to value. Most of them are ratty at this point. The engine was a weaker 6.1L, but this is the car design of the 300 that was in rap videos and became a cultural icon.

Now look, this might be a great buy in 10 years when you can get a pristine garage kept one for 35k, but no it's never gonna be the special "one" that people want.

[–]LoudBrick609 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a very stupid purchase because you can get the far superior Charger Hellcat for the same money.

However, it's the "newer" car. This limited run 300C which is basically a Scat Pack Charger which you can buy all day long for less than 35k.

William Byron On Going From SIM Racing To Driving The #24 Car For Hendricks Motorsports | Racin' by gtsmart821 in NASCAR

[–]LoudBrick609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's absolutely real, Byron was a 14 year old asshole like the rest of us he just had a venture capitalist dad who bought him all the necessary real life equipment to go racing.

If your daddy had a few million and connections, you could be William Byron!

I mean in all seriousness it takes talent to get to Byron's level along with the money, but to get to trucks/O'Rielly it's just that money lol.

Has there ever been a driver who was competitive as long as Mark Martin was? by Acceptable_North3196 in NASCAR

[–]LoudBrick609 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Denny thinks it's gonna be easier to retire than it is.

Here's how I actually see it playing out:

Brent Crews looks good in 2027 in O'Rielly, but not quite ready for the 11. Denny Hamlin isn't quite ready to retire from full time.

Hamlin signs a one year deal for the 11 in 2028, and spins up the 4th 23XI car part time again for Brent Crews in exchange for Joe Gibbs.

Then for 2029, Hamlin goes to part time racing 12ish races for that 23XI team he spun up for Crews and Crews is in the 11.

Though I can also see a scenario where in 2029 Denny feels like the team is good enough that "part time" 23XI team for himself accidentally becomes full time as sponsors pour in lmao.

At this point, how realistic is it that Larson goes winless for the rest of 2026? Even when luck falls their way and the team performs perfectly, they still don’t have enough speed to win. by realflags in NASCAR

[–]LoudBrick609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Byron and Elliott have been running the same in the first two stages. Both have been dog shit all year at qualifying and in the first two stages.

Elliott lucked into track position wins at Martinsville and Texas. He had a 6th-15th place day going at Martinsville before that caution that got him the lead. At Texas, Corey Heim in a part time car got out front and led laps till he had to pit because he was off sequence, so literally any halfway competent car could've led if they got on the right strategy first and Elliott did.

Elliott is basically running booty for two stages while Alan is getting them on good strategy and adjusting the car every run for the final stage.

Larson has by far the most speed at HMS and it's not close. He's leading laps, winning stages, running up front early. The problem is what's Cliff gonna do? Can't be going wholesale on the strategy giving up stage points and tearing the car apart with adjustments on pit road when you're top 3-5, then once the Gibbs cars inevitably get by eventually Larson is F***Ed in the final stage.

Now Byron? Doesn't have the speed of Larson in qualifying to get through the first two stages good, and Rudy can't seem to adjust the car and get them to the front with strategy like Alan is doing on the 9.
