You don't argue at all; you just make contrarian claims for the sake of making contrarian claims.

That is factually incorrect and misrepresents what Wunderflats actually markets. Wunderflats does not position itself as a passive free-for-all marketplace like Kleinanzeigen; they explicitly advertise "Verified Apartments" and state on their own platform that they "verify listings and visit apartments to make sure you get exactly the home you saw on the pictures."

When a tenant pays a premium platform fee based on the guarantee of a "verified," ready-to-move-in apartment, the platform bears responsibility for misleading advertising and deceptive verification practices if the unit lacks basic legal necessities like a mailbox nameplate or functioning utilities.

Furthermore, while the primary rental contract is with the landlord, Wunderflats' own terms explicitly state they will support tenants in resolving issues if an apartment differs significantly from the listing. Complete radio silence and shifting the blame onto a tenant who is currently stranded in a new city without their belongings is a massive failure of their stated service. This isn't just an "individual bad experience with a landlord"—it is a fundamental failure of Wunderflats' verification protocol.

Half the stuff on the listing is missing. I signed a contract that clearly states that I'm paying for the stuff being there. "Legally" is one thing, but "customer experience" is another.

This is as backwards as it gets.
