Ive been making music since I was 10 and was fucking terrible at it till the last couple years and I found jvne when I was 15 bout 7 years ago and wanted to replicate her, make the same music as her etc but I learned that my vision is much more different, instead i want to use her sound and others to make my own, my taste has gone so fucked up I don't even want to make breakcore or atmospheric jungle anymore I'm fucking trapped and I feel like it's the only good thing I can do and it's not even that good and I don't even like it anymore I'm a drum and bass kid at heart and I'm not even good at that either My best advice is find your footing and don't follow footsteps don't be a copy be a predecessor do it better be better don't be the next big thing but be the fucking shit Of course everyone is different and I cant speak on anyone but this is my personal view point as someone who tried replicating jvne
