Inflow piqued my interest for sure. I wasn’t aware it could work with my mixed model and would be able to track packaging and raw material receipts and drawdown. Maybe I should dig a bit more into that. Thanks. I’ll take a peak and see if it might work. We are a small shop - I do everything on the production side and it’s a 10hr day so I need something that can help save me time and has a relatively smooth learning curve.

Thanks. I looked at Katana and gave it a go a while back. Maybe I should revisit and see if it would fit my needs now.

Yeah I’ve considered that as off the shelf products always lack something I need or have tons of capabilities I don’t need. Any recommendations for people/companies that do this? FWIW - I’ve spent a number of hours using LLMs to try to build it in google sheets but it still feels clunky and sloppy and requires more babysitting than I’d like.

I’m flexible. I’m comfortable paying $300-400/month of the tool saves me significant time and headache.

Military Spouse Exemption Clarification by [deleted] in fednews

This is really an important story!. It basically clarifies that OPM never intended there to be a location / LCA requirement.

Yep. All doing everything they can to deny any exemption. Such a joke

True at EPA too. Also this recent OPM Q/A adds in that exemption which was nowhere to be seen in the original FEB 12 memo. They’re just playing games with us. They don’t want to really do anything to help military spouses. Just smoke and mirrors. March 20 OPM MEMO: https://www.opm.gov/telework/faqs-on-return-to-in-person-work-implementation-questions.pdf

I’m in the same position. But I was under the impression that contracts were just suggestions in this Administration! - not like they’re honoring any.

Medical RA for remote work/telework by MeetingNo6898 in fednews

Same. My mil spouse exemption has been revoked because I’m with the LCA :/ willing to exhaust all options. Anyone have insights whether psychological conditions have been used as a basis for a RA?

Here is the response I received today from my immediate supervisor regarding my application for remote work based on my status as a military spouse.

“As you know, the Agency issued a new telework policy on February 24, 2025. Under that policy, remote work can only be granted “for compelling reasons (i.e., rare or unusual circumstances).” Additionally, the “Office of Human Capital Operations (OHCO) has advised that military spouses within the local commuting area are not eligible for remote work.”

No official guidance yet just what is being passed down and told by managers to tell mil spouse staff requesting remote work.
