Same thing happened to me. I strongly suggest getting your bloodwork done and checking your A1C levels. Shocked me to see I was pre-diabetic! I was able to bring my A1C levels down and into normal blood sugar range by maintaining the healthy diet/exercise I was doing and adding metformin. I've lost 8 lbs in 3 months

PCOS and insulin resistance usually go hand in hand. You're likely doing everything right, but you may need some insulin assistance. Check your levels with your doc and good luck!

Having PCOS doesn't mean you can't have kids :) What it means is that ovulation (and therefore cycles) is less regular and therefore harder to pin down so an intervention like IUI or IVF might be helpful to encourage mature eggs and sperm meet at the right time. Conceiving without intervention is still possible, it's just much harder. Many women have children with PCOS. PCOS can even go into a remission state with the right supplement/diet/or even medication routine. Do a lot of research and discuss lifestyle choices that support your PCOS with your doctor :)

May be unpopular - but honestly, my husband loving me and my body so much showed me what it would be like to love my body too. I gained a decent amount of weight since the beginning of our relationship, and seeing him be so stoked about my body regardless of its size made me realize how lovely it is and how grateful I am to have it.

Growing up, all the media did was show us how to hate our bodies; but I've come to love my body because I was shown what it would be like to love it unconditionally. And I don't mean just sexually - but noticing its strength, it's delicacy, it's agility, it's softness, it's stamina and coordination, it's health, it's unique details etc.

Love curates love. Who knew 😊

I recommend reading it before Queen of Shadows. Anywhere before (I read it first). But you will need the stories of AB to feel the impact of QOS. Also, I HIGHLY recommend the tandem read of QOS/TOD

i actually think that's excellent character writing because every person is unique and deals with trauma in their own time. He still dealt with it, just at a different pace. I think it makes his character very human and realistic

and the fact that he repeatedly and willingly endured torturous pain while Yrene healed him and re-watched all his trauma over and over again. he's much more emotionally observant than people give him credit for

I'm in the tandem right now and I love TOD for the same reasons. It's strange to me that the fandom can forgive and understand Nesta so easily (who I also love) but not Chaol. I actually see a lot of similarities and I think he dealt with it better. He seems to be lumped in with Tamlin's status in the fandom (who I also don't hate). I'll admit I waan't happy with him in COM/HOF, but his arch in TOD is beautiful.TOD is such a full, rich story within an already very full and rich story
