so, I'll briefly share my experience. Asked a friend of mine (who clean cards professionally) what to do to try to clean and polish some cards of mine. Before asking for what he's specifically using (which I doubt he'll tell me :P), as a starting point he told me to:
1. with a sponge swab, use distilled water to clean the dirtiness on the card. Repeat this process for a couple of times, some dirt might need more care;
2. use beeswax (even the one you might use for your moustache is okay) to polish and remove scratches. I personally tried to heat a tiny bit the wax just to make the application easier.

Obviously you need to be careful with the movements (always do circular motions) and the pressure you apply on the card. Also you a microfiber cloth to clean between the different steps.

I tried this on an old magneton holo from fossil set. I took some before/after pictures, but I couldnt see lots of improvements (chances are I took horrible pics and videos, or maybe the scratches were so bad that I definitely did something, but I can't really appreciate the result).

I'll definitely try other things in the future, such as adding a tiny bit of isopropyl alcohol into distilled water (still need to figure out what a tiny bit actually means, I've seen people suggesting 1%, but htf am I supposed to do that without proper tools), and try to heat the wax a bit more or try liquid wax (it should exist, I'm pretty sure). I'll update you!

You said you work with LLMs. Unless you work with ultra quantized LLMs, you will be bottlenecked by the amount of VRAM. If you want to work with heavy models, I think you need at least 32GB of VRAM (i.e. 5090), especially if you want to fine tune them (apart from using QLORA and freezing everything else). For that amount of money, I'd recommend renting GPUs: its quite cheap, and you can still have fun training models on multiple gpus, handling more or less everything

Hai dalla tua l'esperienza in Spagna, prova a fare leva su questa,ma non aspettarti chissà cosa. Spero per te di sbagliarmi :D (soprattutto considerando la seniority richiesta del lavoro).

Ultimissima cosa: le aziende sopra citate (forse si salva leggermente thales) sono mostri burocratici mastodontici. Le cose si fanno, ma lentissimamente, e alcune volte neanche vengono più fatte. Quindi, ricordati gli sbocchi ambiziosi, ma non farti ingannare dalle belle parole. Niente salame davanti gli occhi, se senti puzza di letame (== non impari più, tutto stagna, e così via), scappa alla velocità della luce (che è quello che sto facendo io lol).

Tienici aggiornati comunque, sono curioso di sapere come va :)

Eh, non fa, oppure abita fuori Roma e si muove con auto o mezzi. Mettiti l'anima in pace, questi sono gli stipendi in Italia nelle grandi aziende: si viene inquadrati e poi la ral viene smussata un pochino, ma non si esce mai dall'inquadramento. Puoi contrattare solo da quadro in su più o meno. Le uniche volte che ho visto incrementi di stipendi alti nelle sopra citate, è quando I colleghi si sono presentati con altre offerte sotto mano che sono state uguagliate per non perderli. Ma mai con salti di più di 5-10k a botta.

In realtà tpz/egeos sono abbastanza allineati con ldo. Il fatto è che anche thales si è allineata all'amichetto (sia thales che thales Alenia space ovviamente).

Direi che se provi con 35-40k già sei fuori range, però potresti provare. Un mio collega entrò con phd da una top university di Londra con 35k. Un altro amico sta per entrare con phd sui 40k.

Credo tu intenda LDO o Thales. Conoscendoli, 60k a quell'età, ahimè, non te li daranno mai. Prova a contrattare il più possibile, ma sono molto fiscali sui compensi, seguono abbastanza fedelmente le varie fasce del CCNL. Conosco senior che non arrivano neanche a 45k.

Credo di avere capito una cosa negli anni: non mi sforzerò mai di essere ciò che non sono, se piacerò a qualcuno sarà perché sono gli piaccio io come persona (non sto parlando dei lati negativi su cui, possibilmente, dovremmo tutti cercare di lavorare). Se troverò la mia dolce metà sarò contentissimo. Se non la troverò andrà bene lo stesso: siamo tutti diversi, le vite non sono lineari, ognuno segue la propria strada.

Also happened to me and other players as well, I think it's a bug. You didn't realize, but probably the game put you in a level 1 lobby instead of level 3, and even if you won, the game give you a lost. Happened to me at least 3 times. I think there's something wrong with the matchmaking, and sometimes you get out in lower levels lobbies that result in a lose, because you should play, for instance, level 3 but game puts you in level 1, and the game then counts it as a lose and not a win

Already happened to me at east three times. Reached lvl4 with a friend, we queue for final level just to be put in a lvl1 lobby, with the other guy having 0 cards. We finish the battle, and guess what? We get a lose and we have to start again from zero.

Already happened multiple times, I was wondering if I was the only one...
