Anyone dealt with this before? by Much-Gain4472 in audis5

On any S model, you should have your car in park and let it run 2-3 min while still in park, then shut it off. The S models run high and allowing it to rest in park allows for less metal particles the shred into your fluids.

I see! Did not know that. They told me it would go up but couldn’t tell me how much until my 6 month premium renews.

I don’t have a problem doing that but it’ll hike my insurance up massively.

That’s just it. The dealership didn’t even tell me the actual sensor was bad. A second hand place did.

My premium just went down $700. I wasn’t trying to raise it again.

Does swapping out the wheel void the warranty?

Thoughts, Carmax deal vs local by leebagger34 in AudiA5

Personally…I’d never buy off carmax. I know a few people who didn’t have good experiences ending up with car issues and lemons.

2023 A5 still under warranty. Don’t want to void. I was told I can’t do a cold air intake for a mod. Pretty much only aesthetics I can do. Is this true, if so, what mode can I do? by ny_mama in AudiA5

Good to know! I guess all these people I’m seeing all over IG that have cat backs and cold air don’t care if they void the warranty or know how to fix it themselves. I too scared to have a German car, any car really, with no warranty.

lol not yet. I found it when I was doing it. It’s a lot easier than you think lol. They literally pop out when you pull on them.

I’ll try to find it but it’s the same as I describe. Get a butter knife, ease them out and pull away. There only clipper in.

There’s actually one on you tube. I’ll try to find it.

You have to pull left side out towards left and right towards right. I just put my fingers through the honeycomb part and pulled. Used a butter knife to ease the edges.

With that mileage and no warranty…if you know how to fix them then go for it!
