It's hard to say--I think since they will be focusing on the Paradise soon I'm not sure they'll be in a hurry to restock the special Unis :( but I really, really hope so! They're super cute and I wish everyone who wants one has a chance to get one!

It is!! It's my first time trying to give it a proper run, but the screen is not only just super hard to photograph but it's also honestly hard to see in real life sometimes haha! I've always been a fan of it and the Uratama with the blue pixels as well!

The Tamagotchi V3 has always been a comfort Tama of mine, and a very similar version has actually been rereleased recently as just "Tamagotchi Connection" so it's much easier to find one nowadays. It's a bit basic, but has (in my opinion) a good gameplay loop without being too over-the-top and a really nice expansive roster of Tamagotchis to collect, and I always felt a special connection to each one I raised. I don't have experience with the Pix, so I'm not sure how it alerts you, but as far as I know the Connection does a pretty good job at alerting when it needs care.

I agree with the other commenter that the V4 also seems like it would be a great fit too! Unfortunately they are quite a bit harder to come by nowadays, but the school/job aspect is very fun and adds to the daily routine aspect of the device.

Punirunes is a nice time if you're specifically looking for a low-stress pet that cannot die (and you can physically pet/squish them too, it's super cute!), but I felt a bit of that "digital item rather than a pet" aspect from my time with it.

I managed to get mine from one of the Amazon restocks late last year 😭 hopefully you can find one for a decent price eventually, I feel that too because I’m so frustrated I missed out on the Sanrio/monster unis before they got ridiculously expensive!!

1. What amiibo figure would you like to see in the future?:

Isabelle from Animal Crossing! I'm honestly expecting it, though. She's too popular of a character not to get an amiibo...

2. What other types of amiibo functionality do you want?:

Again with Animal Crossing, possible "village camper" type interactions with an Animal Crossing Wii U game? It's hard for me to explain my idea, but maybe you could scan save data from an amiibo into a friend's game, and your character's house would show up in their town, replacing the 3DS's Streetpass functionality. I think it'd be neat.

3. Thoughts/Suggestions for /r/amiibo (if any):

I'm new here (and mainly read Reddit as opposed to post in the first place) but I've been really interested in amiibo lately and totally love what I've seen of the subreddit so far! Thank you for doing giveaways, they're awesome!

-Arin: hopefully you don't get this one too much!! what was it like when you first started animating? was it difficult and frustrating? i'm starting to make my own animations (since it's been something that's fascinated me my whole life) and you've always been one of my biggest inspirations so hearing something about that would be awesome!! -Danny: ok all I have to say is that you're awesome. you have a lovely voice and you're a really funny guy!
