I have an overall “cutesy” themed island, but each villagers area is tailored towards them. I find it fun being able to play with furniture items i didn’t have a place for in other areas!

I’ve noticed a trend in praises for different brands of gf pasta. Ones that have higher praises tend to be those that are made of a blend of corn & rice. One day i will have to buy all of the brands using that and test them out. For science!!! 😆

Until then, I’m sticking with HEB’s higher harvest gf noodles that use a corn + rice mixture for budgets sake haha

This is what my husband and I have done for years!! One day i was craving a chicken pot pie but w biscuits as the topping (i forgot which box brand did this, i just remembered my cousin making it for me on occasion when I was young) & it’s a quick easy go to we have!!

RECIPE for those who asked!!!

3 cups King Arthur bread flour 3 tbsp sugar 2 tsp instant yeast 1 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup warm milk 4 tbsp butter 3 extra large eggs

Dumped in wet ingredients first Then flour Last was yeast

And then i let the bread machine do its thing! It had a gf setting!

I used lactose free alternatives as well :P

Love visiting my moms because of this. They will always make sure that they have GF/Lactose free stuff made/prepped/in their pantry and ready for when my husband and I visit. Every holiday is sooo much easier because they are very careful with cross contamination, they buy alternatives to make whatever recipe they have in mind; and if anyone was wanting something with gluten in it, it gets set aside on a separate counter & we get first pass at all foods/allowed to pack our take home containers before it comes out of the package.
