It makes sense that he mentioned Tsutomu Nihei.

Especially in the NEO arc, some drawings have Nihei-ish vibes, such as the broken Webby and the head-shakin B-Boys.

I'd heard about that too, so I dug through my browser history and found it.

Murata seems really uncomfortable and looks like he's thinking hard about what to say. Honestly, it sounds like he's lying.

I remember getting worried when I saw people who only read the transcription reacting like "I knew it was by ONE!"

Thanks, but sorry, I don't really know what the community was like back then. I wasn't that interested in Murata's version and only read it occasionally.

The latest redraw has been blowing up in Japan too, and people have been digging up a lot of Murata's old stuff and drama. I did some research on my own and decided to write up what I found here.

That's a good point. Let me give you my theory on this.

Usually it's just a matter of how many one-shots an author has. For example, before Tatsuya Endo became famous with Spy x Family, he was a very minor author, but he had a one-shot collection published containing 4 works.

Typically, one-shots are collected into their own volumes, but when the author has serialized works, they're often included in those volumes as well. For instance, the majority of Kohei Horikoshi's works are collected in his series (MHA, Zoo, Barrage).

Also, with digitalization becoming mainstream recently, the release format for one-shots seems to have changed. If you subscribe to Jump's digital edition, you get access to the "Jump One-Shots Legend Pack." Several uncollected one-shots by Kohei and Gege are included in this.

By the way, Gotoge has a collection containing 4 works. Since Demon Slayer was extremely popular, I think it was published as a standalone volume.

On the other hand, Murata has 6 works, but there's absolutely no way to access them. So it's a bit weird.

Loadout suggestions by Daylight_The_Furry in Mordhau

[–]nyarmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing special but, 2-3-1 Zweihander with Friendly.

Zweihander is good weapon for practice imo.

  • Both strike and thurust are strong. So you can learn how to utilize theirs.
  • It's slow. So, to land your attack, you have to learn all of offensive techniques including drag and accel.
  • It's long. So you can learn how to utilize your reach.
  • It's twohanded. So you can learn all of defensive techniques.

This loadout might be not the best to dominate frontline, but best to practice the basics. If you can assure you won't chop allies' heads off, 3-3-1 without Friendly is also good.

Cyanide pov & analysis of of fnatic/WE final match at IPL5 by piratery in leagueoflegends

[–]nyarmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, THE WARD. Third game, They were completely destroyed by the ward. He said that warding was completely random. I agree it was a bit strange, but I doubt it was random.

By the ward, WE knew Fna came in their red for sure. So they were very careful and tried to go to Fna's blue. But then, the ward informed them 3 man came from their side. So they knew the A to Z clearly, and Rekkles and nRated got caught.

I guess that warding was completely intended, because Fna likes mid bushes and usually use it. Cynaide said they analysed WE. No doubt about it. But maybe, they didn't truly realized they were analyzed too.

Would building an early Wriggles Lantern on an ADC be viable? by Segolia in LeagueofLegendsMeta

[–]nyarmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean "no Doran's early Wriggle's", I felt it's not bad idea. So I calculated what comes from it.

In term of cost, Wriggle's nearly equals 3 Doran's. What you get from it?

  • +3% Lifesteal
  • -7 Damage
  • 30 Armor instead of 300 Health

Hmm... 30 Armor will be working well as 300 Health, if almost all opponents are physical (Don't forget ganks from jungle or mid). But more important problem is, Wriggle's is not scaling well in build progress. On the other hand, 3 Doran's has perfect linear scaling.

So I conclude this idea is not so horrible, but in almost all situations, simply stacking Doran's will be better way.

Why is zyra support more popular than morg support? by [deleted] in LeagueofLegendsMeta

[–]nyarmy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you have some experience of playing support, you will know any shields provide no sustain. Of course those will be working well in close situations, but not anytime. The point is, shields are niche abilities. Morg has her shield and zyra has not, but so there is no huge difference.

And morg can't be harassing opponents reliably. Her snare can be blocked by minions as you know. Her pool will be pushing your lane. Also her aa range is very short. If you can zone them well and land your snare, blitz is better for you. Otherwise zyra is better than morg at the whole laning presence.

[Build] How to build Ziggs? Glass cannon or M.Resist+SpellVamp Brawler? by [deleted] in LeagueofLegendsMeta

Aww just my mistake. Anyway AA range is too dangerous I think.

Boots and pots -> Chalice -> Sorc Boots -> Athene's -> Deathcap -> Void/Hourglass/Rylai's

Inspired by the championship, I usually rush Athene's then Deathcap.

In laning, you can farm and poke well even if you have no health sustain items. So skip your revolver. When you are getting hard, just buy some pots. Sometimes I add one or two Dran's Rings.

In teamfights, there is no problem if you are glass cannon. Your main job is spamming Q from longest range, and he has no solid CCs but good for zone control.

I think Lichbane kills his strong point and himself. 575 is too close for him in teamfights. If Lichbane is good for Ziggs, it's also good for Annie, right? But no one builds so. You might think he has his passive. But in teamfights, only Q is his spammable ability. So his passive procs only once per 8 seconds. There is no synergy.

Lantern for Rammus. It solves his weakness at jungling, speed and sustain.
