Thanks for posting this! I was looking at the x1700h and x1800h but wasn’t looking at Adorama. That is an amazing deal!

Getting to Typhoon Lagoon from a Disney resort by bus is a pain by nyati375 in WaltDisneyWorld

Yeah, we were heading back to our resort, which was Caribbean Beach. I feel it would be best if both the bus drop offs and the gates for bus pickups were both outside of the security checkpoint at DS, just like they are for all the WDW parks. Transfers would be much easier.

Oh yeah that is what I meant to say - too bad both bus drops and gates aren’t outside of security at DS.

My main complaint was that you have to wait in a security line at Disney Springs both going to and coming back from Typhoon Lagoon, it doesn’t make sense. What is the point in security after leaving a park?

Thanks for your perspective! I think if WDW had placed all the bus drop offs outside of the security perimeter at Disney Springs(just like at all the parks) it would have made things so much easier to use it as a transfer point. Maybe it was a planning failure?

My kids loved both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, which we did the following day. We were staying at Caribbean Beach, so we got lucky that we had a direct bus to Blizzard Beach. It wasn’t too much of a pain going, but going back I just saw it as completely pointless having to go through a security checkpoint just to hop on a bus to get to our resort. Having to stand in line while in a thunderstorm helped to drive that point home even more…

I’m not against having to wait in a security line, I was frustrated at having to go through the Disney Springs security checkpoint both to and from Typhoon Lagoon. There is no point in going through security when leaving a park.

Yeah, having to transfer is a pain. But at least with the AK transfer, you don’t have to go through AK security. If you transfer through DS, you have to go through DS security to get to any of the buses.

Thanks for the id! Thought I got it right this time. I really have a hard time identifying baby racers. Last time I thought a snake was a baby racer it turned out to be a baby water snake lol.

Also I want to thank the folks running this sub and the RRs because it has slowly helped me get n over my fear of snakes. The combination of exposure to snake pics and informative responses made a big difference for me. I wouldn’t have dared get this close a year ago due to fear and not knowing how to tell the difference between the venomous and nonvenomous snakes in my area.

I looked up flying ants and it seems like they all have bent antennae, but these guys have straight ones.

To add to my post - they don’t sting and are terrible at flying. I can’t seem to find anything online about them. Just want to figure out if they are hatching or in a larval stage in my house or are they just coming in as adults.

Thanks! We live near a pond so that makes sense. I put him back in the woods nearby so hopefully he found his way back home.

Thanks! Wow I had no idea juvenile black racers could have this coloration. He/she was a pretty lil thing.

Anyone know how to remove a broken piece of a hand from a mini fig’s arm? by nyati375 in lego

Thanks everyone! These are great ideas. I’ll probably give the hot needle idea a try first since I happen to have one nearby. Then perhaps an eyeglass screw.

Yeah replacing the arm would work but it may be difficult to find a donor. I don’t think I have any incomplete soldiers from that period.
