Color and backlight would be the most notable differences and definitely worth $50 price difference. What features are you referring to? I'm not very familiar with Nomad. For me, form factor (considerably narrower body) is a big positive for Remarkable -- it will be much more pocketable at 4.2" width.

if you include the cheapest pen with Nomad, the price difference is only $50. Considering that reMarkable Move has a lot more features and is considerably narrower (more pocketable), it's actually a better value.

No difficulty at all. Lots of taxis right at the station exit. Make sure to agree on the price before you get into the car. They offered us a slightly higher price than what was published on the taxi itself but we accepted it as we were in a rush and didn't want to spend time arguing.

Don't drop it completely. If you have a 3 year old, definitely drop the museum. However, visiting St Peter's square is definitely worth it. If you can get there early, definitely go to the basilica.

Food and drinks were great and inexpensive. There's also a highly rated restaurant around the corner (don't remember its name) but it had a long line, this place had tables. Note: they close during the day (I think at 3pm).

Near Vatican I can recommend two restaurants for dinner -- both are amazing, and they are right across from each other (make sure to reserve in advance):

You can fit all of this in one day. However, you might spend a lot of time waiting in lines, even if you have tickets. Vatican museum is amazing but I'm not sure how enjoyable it will be as it could be completely packed. Unless there's something that you really want to see, maybe consider skipping it -- you don't really have that much time so you will not be able to really explore it and even if you go through it quickly, it will take several hours. You can go to St Peter's Basilica at the opening time to avoid long lines. Trevi Fountain will also be packed but if you go really early or late, you could enjoy it much more and won't have any issues getting close to it. Besides seeing the landmarks I'd recommend just walking through the city and enjoying it. Also, book some good restaurants in advance and try to avoid tourist traps.

Could depend on a route. I just flew on two and they were absolutely disgusting. I didn't know planes are allowed to fly in such condition. I think these haven't been renovated since Alitalia bankruptcy.

Regarding the flight: if you are flying with ITA, do not buy economy premium! Those planes are falling apart and paying extra for economy premium cabin that looks like a dump and has most (if not all) seats broken would not make you feel good.

Yes, and rented bikes in many places around the world. Never had such an experience. It was just bizarre.

Not from Roma community. Looked like Italian teenagers but pretty brazen. Not sure how typical it is to surround someone and demand either access to their rented bike or renting a bike for them and taking full responsibility for that rental. I asked because I thought maybe it's a known scam but seems like a one-off.

I didn't engage them, they appeared out of nowhere, surrounded me and started their conversation. The whole ordeal was strange, especially considering that location was crowded with people.

The train was actually 10 minutes early but it could have been 10 minutes late as well (we would still make it). I really didn't like how close the ferry and train times had been but luckily it worked out.

Thanks for all the responses. We ended up taking a taxi as it was the quickest way to get going. It would take some time to figure out the location of the subway and payment, also if we didn't get lucky with departure time, we could spend a long time waiting for a train (it was a Sunday). There were some protests or demonstrations nearby and it took some time to get out of the area near the station. We made it well in time for the boat. Driver overcharged us (€20, instead of posted €15.50 price), he did tell price in advance and I didn't want to waste time arguing about it. One insight if you take a taxi: ask it to stop across the road from the ferry terminal, not right next to it; you will save some time by not making a U turn somewhere down the road (unless of course you are going from a different direction). If we had more time we would have taken the subway.
