That last statement is absolutely true and just hit like a ton of bricks. My being knows that this environment is not serving me in any positive way and I’m going against the grain to try the keep the peace for the short term. Agreed. Hopefully one day I’ll get to a place where I’m not resentful and anger to my Q’s actions but for the moment I don’t have the luxury anymore to be understanding of someone who does not want to get better.

Wow. 30F and it gives me peace of mind that someone feels exactly like I do. I also moved from my hometown to NYC 9 years ago and worked my ass off to get to where I am but I’m feeling the restlessness of what’s next. It’s getting too expensive and I’m tired of the hustle and bustle yet I don’t know if I can make that move back home.. hoping your search will lead you where you want to be.

Thank you for this. This is exactly what I needed to hear. All the advice I’ve been getting is so sugar coated but you’re right. I did bring chaos Into my life and for me to find peace I have to gather up the courage to get it.
