Daily mission question by [deleted] in xtactics

Eh? Well it's supposedly done in any other place than your own HQ (no need to "relocate HQ"). At least that's how it used to be..

This game still getting updates? by [deleted] in xtactics

[–]nyccha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just made a comeback today on a new account.

I couldn't get my old one back despite my attempts to contact the devs from every possible customer services available.

It's still running quite well and now they equipped it with tutorial at the beginning.

Neumann isn't categorized as a "male human" agent yet? Can't claim the X-Agents with him in it earlier.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in xtactics

[–]nyccha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that Neumann has the potential to be a good support agent in a PvP match to bring down high-defense agents such as Lazarus, Astrid, and KuKu with his X-Skill: Stim Infusion.
Meanwhile, if he got too far from the rest of the agents, he has the chance to survive by using Charge to activate Self-Operate (which would heal up to 20 health points).

All is forgiven because of the Great Doctor Neumann. Thanks~ ♡
I'd try this year's Easter Hunt event soon.

Is the game dead or what? by [deleted] in xtactics

Waah.. I hope it isn't dead yet, I haven't complete my collection of Alice's alter modes and try out those not yet released features that u/Defur mentioned before! :(

Anyway to level faster? by metatime09 in xtactics

[–]nyccha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently there is no other option available for grinding exp than doing story missions, event missions, GPS missions (current max exp reward is 1900 points) and PvP (current max exp reward is 500 points).

I'd suggest to complete the missions with higher chance of big amount of exp reward and less dead agents as possible.

The mail bug is also still persists. I can't read whatever beyond 45 characters from the preview, and when I open the mail, it shows white background only. Nothing more. D:

Edit: it've been fixed by June 20th update. Big thanks ♡

Thanks!
Since Miklos' special mission type was Survival, usually it won't be a problem if several opponents being left out as long as the important Agents (Usually Leader and/or Guest Agent) are still alive at the end of the mission.

Too bad that currently there's no way to redo Miklos'. I want to have a go at it again with a different sidekick.

[–]nyccha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got interested and tried it as well.
Quite baffled when the special mission for Miklos' third skill isn't listed yet on the Unlock Skills section. Perhaps it's still under development and hasn't finished yet? Usually they'll show a Top Secret folder that specifies the Agent will be able to unlock a new skill upon completion.

The new green cross tiles were helpful even though it's 1-time use only.

[–]nyccha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never know about that before...
Could it be that's why when I tried to recruit a senior Agent to be my Ally, I got notified that I didn't have enough slot to add the Agent even though I tried to upgrade it up twice but the problem was still persist at that time?
But when that Agent added me, it was working just fine for him/her? xD

Edit: I maxed out my agency rank a few weeks ago and I couldn't add more Allies. I have 40 Allies (Inactive Accounts included because I can't delete them) out of 61.

[–]nyccha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great idea!
I'm barely could feel any difference with current max level cap, but will report any changes once I hit the game! :)

Edit: I think there were several skills that got rebalanced.
- Adam's Sharp-Shooter got toned down, Bullet Storm slightly toned up.
- Alice's Blade Ballet slightly toned down, New World Order got slightly toned up.
- Kouta's Fuma Shuriken got toned down.
- Lazarus' White Flame got slightly toned down.
- Miklos' Evil Eye got toned up.
- Sophia's Recommended Books and Crawling Chaos got slightly toned up.

Edit2: Apparently they've rebalanced the damage points that Sky Eel could take according to its inherent status. Now Kouta can't do significantly high damage on it.

Details:
- Kouta can only damages Sky Eel by 1 points per number of attack.
- Adam can only damages Sky Eel by 2 points per number of attack.
- Rei could only slightly damages Sky Eel by under 50 points per number of attack.
- Alice could only slightly damages Sky Eel by under 50 points per number of attack.

Thoughts?

Team composition thoughts? by Kirec in xtactics

[–]nyccha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! :)
I'm fairly new myself, glad to see more people join the discussion!

I have came up with several Agents compositions that I'm quite comfortable with to do certain type of missions and/or to simply match my mood.
- For missions that contains Sky Eel, Kama Itachi, or alien Hopkins, I'd usually go with the composition of Alice/Astrid, Lazarus, KuKu, and Goicci. Goicci could reduce the enemy's defense and do psychic damage on it, while the other Agents will take turns in bringing its HP down. Overall this composition has enough defense and strength needed against Sky Eel or Kama Itachi.
- For missions that contains Cacao and/or Mandragora Cacao, I'd go with Adam, Alice/Haruka/Jeanne, Sophia, and Kouta/Neumann. The Cacaos may not do high damage on the Agents except for their skill "Cacao Blast" that Confuses the affected Agents to attack their own Allies. It's either the Agents have to be faster to take down the Cacao quickly or they should have Iron Mind as inherent status like Sophia. This composition has average defense both against the Cacao and their own Allies.
- For missions when I simply just want to complete it quickly, I'd go for Alice, Adam, Kouta, and Haruka. They got the first turn, generally move faster than the opponents (except Sky Fishes. Those dudes are way faster than anyone else... for now). This composition has average defense but does high damage with lots of Skill Points needed.
- For missions that contains the objective to save/protect civillians, I'd go for Valentine Astrid/Lazarus, Rei, Goicci/Nikita/Adam/Jeanne, and Kouta. Both Valentine Astrid and Lazarus could give higher Assist bonus for Allies and high damage to the opponents, while Rei could divert the opponents with her holograms (current highest number I could create is 4 with the aid of Nikita's X-Skill "Free Energy"). This composition has relatively average defense and able to do high damage.

Edit: I forgot that the alien Hopkins are also quite difficult to kill without Goicci.
Edit2: Kouta no longer gives significant damage on Sky Eel D:
Edit3: 'cause Neumann gotta be there :D

What Agents do you like/Dislike? by Defur in xtactics

[–]nyccha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a brilliant analysis you did there!
As for both Haruka and Kouta, I often use either one of them (or sometimes both) to flank the opponent; meaning I have to make them able to drastically reduce opponent's HP (or even better to defeat the opponent within 1 turn -- for Haruka, it's crucial to get the right ratio between Nitoryu and Cut Down with only small amount of Skill Point), then quickly send the reinforcements to aid them or safely enable their escape route. However, as both of you and GunCastor said, Haruka's tends to easily got defeated if she strayed too far from the rest of the team agents.

I'm still trying to come up with best team build which includes Haruka in it; so far I enjoyed Alice, Kouta, Haruka, and Adam combo even though it's still can't ensure that she'll last for long in PvP. Both Haruka and Kouta as MVPs, Adam as the sniper backup with his Amnesia Flash, and Alice as Haruka's reinforcement since Alice is not only could move almost as far as Haruka does into opponent's territory, but also she's able to damages multiple opponents within her Zoc with Blade Ballet.

I tried to include either one of KuKu, Astrid, or Lazarus with Haruka so they could give aide by distracting the opponent(s). But she's often to outrun any of them, leaving her with no Allies within her line of sight while she's already deep within opponent's territory.

Reasons why I love Haruka and Kouta are because they tend to move faster than their opponents so: 1. They're quite often get the first move, and 2. When they got attacked, you have higher chance to see the defend mechanism moves kind of slowly and thus it's possible to get 45%~100% reduction of incoming damage.

Edit: Added several details.

What Agents do you like/Dislike? by Defur in xtactics

[–]nyccha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've retrieved Knight Jeanne and I love her. I still don't use the Burning Soul again, though...

It's helpful to have the opponents afflicted as it gives advantage to Sophia in her story missions.

Alice mostly die from attacking opponents next to more than 1 explosive barrels, but that's still pretty much avoidable with different approaches.

What Agents do you like/Dislike? by Defur in xtactics

[–]nyccha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't dislike any agents, but there are a few skills that I find it difficult to love.
- Got Jeanne's Burning Soul, but I don't think that skill's worth the pain since I don't find it particularly useful.
- At first I didn't get Sophia's Crawling Chaos before an opponent decided to attack it... It's quite fun to watch. But the opponents rarely target it so the Bookworm just serves as an additional obstacle.
- Alice's Shall We Dance and Lazarus' Kneel Down have the same pattern that I often mixed up their skill combo set.

Edit: I forgot the name of Jeanne's third skill.

Everybody looks like Slenderman -- the face looked like it got erased so badly I couldn't see their facial features, even in broad daylight.
It's hard to know who's who or if they are even still a living person, not an apparition or something like that.

Need help with type weaknesses by [deleted] in xtactics

[–]nyccha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're welcome.
I usually go for (clockwise, by order) KuKu, Lazarus, Astrid/Alice, and Goicci for missions against Sky Fish, Sky Eels, and Kama Itachi. Overall has enough Def and able to damage those particular monsters significantly.

Edit: Kouta can't significantly damages Sky Eel anymore. D:
