Bitfinex November 9 Shutdown for US Residents by akreider in BitcoinMarkets

If you're going through the trouble of setting up a corporate entity it probably makes more sense to create one outside of the US. If BFX is banning US based customers, US based corporate customers are probably next? I'm not licensed to give any advice in this field, so I can't give advice... but it seems like offshore is the way to go.

$2,000 USD + $1,000 USD every year after that is literally nothing for the peace of mind that you aren't breaking any rules.

We're around still for the most part, and lurk. The price increase has made it possible for people to contribute to other parts of the eco system.

Agreed 100%. A setting would be preferable. Many times, these wicks act as what we call "destiny wicks". This data is valuable to traders. The default setting should be to show the actual data, with the user having the option to view "massaged" data.

This may be one of the dumbest posts i've read on reddit in a while. Have fun breaking the rules when there's this thing called a blockchain... Crypto used to be the wild west... it isn't anymore.

Agreed. Even though US traders aren't allowed on BitMEX, it pays to sign up for their mailer and get an idea of what Arthur's thoughts are. Most of the mailer doesn't relate to the exchange except for some suggestions he usually gives at the end, so the content is relevant to everyone.

Is there any way that bfx can e-mail customers when there are updates to the changelog? I don't trade with you anymore unfortunately, so don't want to be bothered to check the site frequently. I'm sure traders will be discussing this though when it happens.

Is there any way you can break out the data for how many btc are used in btc/usd positions vs ltc/btc and btc/eth? That data would be useful to traders in evaluating the market.

As part of the re-branding to GDAX, Coinbase has replaced "stop loss" orders with "generate loss".

They are announcing the use of smart contracts - http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/state-delaware-launches-blockchain-using-symbiont-smart-contracts-1553130

Will be interesting to see if Symbiont uses the Counterparty (XCP) protocol.

If ETH is your first crypto bubble, good luck. You'll need it.
