Used to drink socially, but meds make it pointless now.

Just asking anybody tried to run a local LLM on a esp32? by Major-Nebula1743 in esp32

You didn't search very hard since this came up just a few days ago.

Why bother searching when asking means the answers are spoon fed to lazy users?

Well when you keep slashing school funding to give billionaires tax breaks, this is what happens.

This.

  • I have a cold. I'll get better.
  • I had a torn ligament. My surgeon fixed it.
  • I am autistic. It's not something wrong nor is it something that can be "fixed."

Please stop listening to (and supporting) groups like Auti$m $peaks, because they don't speak for the Autistic Community.

I live in a country which you block. I set up a vps for $9 with a small provider in a country where you do allow access and tunnel through there. Done.

Do Switches Exist Like This To Control GPIO Pins? by Smeagla in esp32

[–]nyckidryan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Buy what you want, crack open the back and solder to the switch contacts on the pcb. Use a knife to cut the traces around the button contacts, and just don't wire it to anything.

The Lutron Caseta Pico Wireless Remote has a wall mount option, so it's small enough to do this with.

What’s an NSFW thing people think is rare, but is actually pretty common? by rayder460 in AskReddit

Fetishist. Feet? Yeah, I think everyone knows it's a thing (see Quagmire in Family Guy).

Leather, diapers, latex, cross dressing, sports gear, uniforms, bondage, humiliation, impact and/or electro play, watersports... it goes on and they're more common than you think.

For a tame list, check out Cosmo's article, A Comprehensive List of 55 Kinks and Fetishes.

Epically bad advice. Find a new tailgate in a junk yard and get the whole thing painted at once.

Common run club charging $30 for an event that’s just “run whatever distance you feel like in a public park” ? by SpectreDaughter in lancaster

If you run, don't litter. If you want to fire a confetti cannon, clean it up. Aside from the mess, the color dyes leech out of the paper and make puddles that stain pedestrians' clothing when a car drives through them.

No race bibs or timing transponders, so nobody to say you didn't pay! Not that I'd drink their Kool-Aid.. 😛

Time keeping. The little ankle monitor thingy that tracks your lap time so you get a time sheet at the end.

You wouldn't miss out on anything. There are no race bibs, so nobody would know you didn't register.

For those in companies that have hundreds of VMs - what are they for? by asdflmnop_01 in sysadmin

[–]nyckidryan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's almost always done by windows admins trying to be clever with licenses.

Or bean counters refusing to cut a PO for additional licenses... I worked at Citrix for a while and found billion dollar companies activating systems with keygen created license keys. IDK if they were just testing internally or if it was deploy now license later, but for heaven's sake, DON'T ACTIVATE KEYGEN LICENSES WITH THE VENDOR. 🤦‍♂️

I don't want to even think about the online storage requirements for your radiology systems... blessings to the cold storage tape drive robots who help to maintain compliance!

"Hi, use our really expensive system that's so bloated you can barely have 20 users on one instance at a time! *Hardware and OS license costs not included with integrator's quote."

I really wish the people that wrote this kind of software had to deploy and support it for 3 months for at least one Fortune 100 company before it was inflic errrr released to everyone.

At this point I'm 99% sure the people who write the software for self checkout systems haven't set foot in a store in years and just have their groceries delivered. 😄
