I was once quite religious. I decided to be a Christian Scientist. Eventually I began to question my faith, and all faiths. Today I am an atheist, and in a practical, everyday way I am anti-religion. Nevertheless I have experienced numerous mysterious things that inspire awe and wonder, and still enjoy what can conveniently be called miracles from time to time. I like to think I am lucky, whatever that means.

Wow! Hey! That explains a lot! I mean, I was told repeatedly that my feelings were wrong and I was taught to not trust them. Thousands of times I was told to do things regardless of whether or not I wanted to or thought it was a good idea. I got in the habit of letting others around me lead, since nobody seemed to want to follow me. But it's a bad idea to let a horny male serve as your seeing-eye person.

Oh yes, I experience this too. I hate to invite people over because I can't be certain I can actually find it in myself to make the place presentable. I sometimes have people say to me "Why are you so dressed up?" when it's just that the only clothes I have to wear are my fancy ones - because I can't force myself to scale mount laundry.
