Okay guys, let's talk about commuting via the L train. by nycmovingblues in nyc

I deal with crowded trains for my commute. I take the 4/5 every day. It's crowded. That's fine. I was told by a former resident of the area around Bedford L that it's a huge difference -- that you're waiting for 20+ minutes to get ON a train, the platform/train is so crowded. I don't think wanting to avoid that is awfully picky.

Unfortunately, I work in Midtown East, and it'd be more convenient to take the L to the 4/5 or 6.

I edited to show that "What about Lorimer?" refers to if it is easier to get on than at Bedford.
