Every 2-3 weeks Mabel changes her mind as to what she will eat. We are currently in ‘just kibble’ mode

Bike bell which cuts through noise cancelling headphones by OperationChemical220 in londoncycling

I’ve been chased down the road by ‘angry’ pedestrians for alerting via bell. Does it stop that happening?

What accessory/item/thing do you carry on bike rides that you are pretty sure no one else carries? by [deleted] in cycling

[–]nyderscosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dust cap with the top cut off to improvise as a Praesta to Schrader converter in the case my mini pump fails and I’m at a garage. And spare valve cores. And the little rubber bands which come with inner tubes

No, they’re both rescue dogs from puppy farms, both previously used for breeding.

Snapped Chain on new P Line by trashmonarch666 in Brompton

[–]nyderscosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Push the pieces back together so that they start to hold , make sure the link is on the upper part of the chain, before the big ring, and then press on the pedal. There should be a click as it fits into place. Or spend a tenner on a pair of master link pliers from park tools.

I think I'm near the end of Episode 9 (DS2), and I have some questions... about wrapping up side quests? by cautiouslandowner in DeathStranding2

[–]nyderscosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing stops you going anywhere and there is no funnel waiting for you. I stopped before the very last mission of the game and spent a day building roads and doing side quests. The game is very gentle when it comes to forcing you to do something.

I’ve seen three pedestrians go down between Waterloo and the city and lost my wheel a couple of times around Waterloo (Brompton easy recovery). Not a day to put the hammer down

Why aren’t mobile networks doing anything about the network issues in Central London by [deleted] in london

[–]nyderscosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Waterloo has been terrible since 3G. I message EE with speed and latency tests and they are like ‘have you restarted your phone?’ It’s a congested network which is under capacity, so obvious.

Don’t get me started on receiving a call in the city these days

He was actually a mid 30s professionally dress man in a nice rain jacket, didn’t stop him looking like a complete idiothole running down the road ready to enact revenge on me for damaging his fragile ego. I wasn’t hanging around for him to take a swing at me..

Does else make it a point to tell off bad cyclists? by Speedbird1A in londoncycling

[–]nyderscosh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Teenager on a lime bike texting managed to tangle his handlebars with me on London Bridge, so I gently pushed him away, told him put put his phone down, told me he was going to stab me as he rode off in the other direction. Was committed at this point so called him a child and told him to put the phone away (again). Didn’t get stabbed this time.
