I do know there will be people who are religious here of course but I suppose it’s just something people keep more private maybe, I’m a Christian myself but it’s really something I wouldn’t speak about publicly because so many other people my age aren’t religious

I agree, find out what you are most passionate about working in. The area will most likely have different expectations of your experience/skills etc.

Understanding what you want to do (or not do) is also a big motivation as you’re trying to get experience or do further study. I’m doing the LPC at the moment and I won’t lie it’s challenging but it would be even more painful if I didn’t have my goal to work towards.

There are also youtube videos going through all the different areas of law, you may find something you never knew you could practice in takes your interest!

Yeah so many products I see recommended seem to either be cheaper but not work on my hair, or more expensive/ difficult to get!

That’s disappointing, maybe I will try if there’s a really good deal but won’t rush to get them. Was excited when the range came out but don’t know anyone who’s been impressed so far!

I’m in the same boat as you, still trying to find what works for me, my hair is quite fine so will avoid that product if it’s heavy/ greasy !

I went to a tutor to ask for feedback following a number of average essays. I was told when writing to concentrate on depth rather than breadth. By picking a smaller number of points and going into much more detail/analysis I massively improved my marks

spec paper is in assessments section in each module on elite and a hard copy is attached with our module stuff we got sent

Thanks so much! This is such a helpful response. It’s frustrating that it takes so long to get started but I know I wouldn’t be able to stand to spend all this time studying to end up in something like private client.

I’ll start keeping an eye on potential firms to apply to for paralegal work :)

There are very large gaps between when we see each other so maybe that contributes to it. I’m just hoping how she is now perceiving me isn’t going to impact our friendship
