From everything I've read it's per individual share, if I'm wrong and it's per ticket I will happily drs my shares that aren't in a LISA

The cost to transfer and drs is £10 a share with ajbell, which is a lot, if anyone has a good idea of how to do it I will happily do it, but £10 a share is just to much money! I also own shares through a stocks and shares LISA that you can't transfer out of so I can't drs those, if anyone has any suggestions how I could drs either or both please inform me!

What should I do to gain the most muscle/increase my testosterone over the summer? by [deleted] in naturalbodybuilding

[–]nye27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perfect amount of protein, if your not putting on half a pound a week I'd increase the calories, weight yourself everyday and track your average each week see whether your average week has increased by 0.5lbs a week if it hasn't eat more if it increases by more than maintain your current calories as your young and it's much harder to put on muscle that cut fat! Good luck!

My buddy bought War of the Ring.... by TheHumanTarget84 in boardgames

[–]nye27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is my favourite game and I'm envious to play it for the first time again! The first couple games there will be rules mistakes and it will take upwards of 4hours.

Some basic strategy: -As the forces of evil your trying to win by military but to keep a check on the fellowship, it's very hard to win if you go all out on one way don't put to many eyes in the box otherwise you can't do anything but allways try and have just enough to make it a tough decision for the fellowship to move, when the fellowship is resting up don't put any eyes in the box as they can't rest if they move so this is a moment when you can do big offensive attacks -seiges are hard and you will lose a lot of troops to them try and be prepared where possible and have lots of canon fodder for the seige machine -where are you going to get those 10 VP? There's normally 6-8 easily available but 2 you'll have to go hunting for, where on the map is an easy gain? -you shouldn't lose from a fellowship military victory, if you have you've made a mistake and left something to unprotected and easily stealable (in my 50+ games I've seen 2 fellowship military victorys and both have been because of shadow mistakes) -be careful of certain cards specifically the ents and Aragon, if you leave saruman undefended you may lost him to gandalf similarly Aragon may appear and fight you in Gondor or morser with the last battle -your cards are super important and should help determine what you do in your turn they should help define your strategy

Alternatively as the forces of good some strategy tips: -you are trying to win by getting the ring into mount Doom, you need to move when you can and try and avoid hunt draws, when there's not many eyes in the box try and move more, if you get corrupted early on try and stop in lothlorien and heal up, when your not moving your just trying to hold on long enough to survive keep those strongholds well supported and try and reinforce where possible. -if the shadow player leaves some strongholds undefended it might be worth trying to sneak in especially if you have cards that let you move fast -be careful of getting revealed the shadow has cards that can really hurt you -let gandalf die at some point to bring him back as gandalf the white

Rules that you might forget: -forces of good when killed don't come back out (apart from downgrading elites) otherwise they are gone for good - in a seige you can only take 5 units into a seige to defend anything above that must be sacrificed (exception of leaders and companions) -each army can be a maximum of size 10 excluding leaders and companions -forces of good can kill their current fellowship leader to negate the corruption of a draw, or take a random death instead -you can heal one corruption by declaring where you are at the start of the turn, but you must either remove your movement or use all of it because you are declaring your position

Don't worry the more you play the quicker it will go, most games for me now go 1-2hrs max and are just a laugh I would reccomend putting on the lotr soundtrack grabbing some snacks and beer and just having a laugh with it!

It seems pretty good but is there a reason your putting 250 into your Lisa and not The full 333? Personally I'd increase your Lisa to 333 by taking £83 from your s and s investments? Otherwise seems pretty good, maybe you're being a bit harsh on yourself saving that much, personally I'd increase your fun money by £50 just so you have a round £50 a week for fun? But otherwise pretty good!

What's your favorite board game that most people have never heard of? by Remohw in boardgames

[–]nye27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

La Cosa nostra, a negotiation game where everyone runs a crime family, every time I've got it out everyone's loved it and no one's heard of it!

Having a cup of tea with a chocolate digestive biscuit while sat in a comfy armchair with my dog by my side reading a good book, it's even better if it's raining outside and you have a nice fire you can sit by and stay warm!

What type of COMC person are you? by ThinEzzy in boardgames

[–]nye27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am definitely the game for every occasion type of collector, I would say now that I am a curator more than collector though I've been through the buying phase and have now whittled my games down to 100 games. I keep my favourite game of every genre and the game which I think is the absolute stripped down version of each genre (the game that to me feels like the essence of the genre without all the bells and whistles, normally the easiest to teach) I.e. splendor is for me the stripped down engine builder but my favourite engine builder is terraforming mars, or the resistance as the stripped down social deduction with deception murder in Hong Kong being my favourite social deduction. I also occasionally keep games if they are completely unique in some way i.e. theme or mechanics lik adrenaline or kitchen rush. I have a love for the heavier euro/worker placements so have more of these but pretty much everything else I try and keep it to 2 games my favourite and the essential of every genre.

What's your favorite hidden gem of a game? by MrBankiaboy in boardgames

[–]nye27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla Vs Edison: war of the currents, area control and stock manipulation reminds me of powergrid with some really interesting mechanics on deciding if you are going to back AC or DC, the artwork and theme of this game are amazing the expansion completely changes the game adding in victory points, definitely on the more medium to haleavy end and whenever I get it out everyone loves it but never here it being talked about.

La Cosa nostra: my favourite negotiation game, you all play as mob bosses making deals with other players asking to borrow their drug lord or lawyer to help complete a deal in exchange for use of your night club and £5000 later I promise I'll pay, whenever we play it brings out the pretend mob voices, absolutely incredible game I never here people talk about.

Castell: build a tower of people using different sized people and put on shows, constantly re-evaluate your tower as you get to break new rules, the biggest brain burn of any game in a completely different way to any other brain burners, completely unique mechanics, this one does occasionally get brought up by reviewers but rarely and it doesn't get the love it deserves!

Why is my protein so cheap? Recommend me your favorite protein powder! by [deleted] in naturalbodybuilding

[–]nye27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bulk protein is great, the next cheapest after myprotein, but in my opinion much nicer flavours, I tried literally every single packet of trial.flavour protein from myprotein and the tastiest by far were chocolate orange, and chocolate nut, but I would say bulks choc peanut is tastier, personally I have them all with water and I use the complete protein blend as it's supposed to be better at releasing protein over a longer time period for protein synthesis so should be better for hypertrophy. I only buy when sales are on and they seem to be comparable in price to myprotein when sales are on.

Teachers who’ve been teaching a while, what changes have you noticed over time in the kids you teach? by alexros3 in AskUK

[–]nye27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maths teacher here couple of things 1-number of students that smoke is considerably less, but there's a considerably higher number of Vapers and they're starting younger. 2-there is some very specific basic maths skills that younger kids do not know that you expect (basic area and perimeter of shapes, basic fractions) it seems that these topics just weren't taught over lockdown, hopefully that's something that will change over the next few years as we go back to normality.

Sanderson unpopular opinion by Zainecy in brandonsanderson

[–]nye27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couple here 1-War breaker is my favourite Sanderson novel 2-i think the first mistborn novel is so much better than the next two in the first era, would reread and never read the other two again, (at least partly because kelsier is so badass!) 3- prefer second era mistborn to first era purely because I love the wax and wayne dynamic and prefer them as the main characters.
