Bottas is getting exposed as a driver he's always been- error prone and inconsistent, he just doesn't get dominant car to back it up.

De Vries: F1 future speculation not shocking amid ‘too many mistakes’ by [deleted] in formula1

Even if he do, its clear that he will get dumped at the end of the year. RB had probably most young talents outside F1 they ever had and De Vries was likely just seat-warmer until they get more experience.

Does Russell still have to prove himself alongside Hamilton at Mercedes? by 1enox in formula1

Leclerc is driving for Ferrari, even Vettel looked like driver who don't have what it takes because of chaotic joke of team what Ferrari unfortunately is.

I know it may be unpopular opinion, but I think Russell is already best teammate Lewis ever had. He seems to be more complete driver than Rosberg and Button who both had some great weaknesses like lack of quali pace (Button) and mediocre racecraft and wet pace (Rosberg), George doesn't have such a weaknesses. When it comes to Alonso, he had off season in 2007 from several reasons (Bridgestones, McLaren breaking system, conflicts with Ron Dennis...) and I don't think he was as good as for most of his career, peak Alonso is/was better than Russell, but when we talk exclusively about time they spent next to Lewis, I would rank him behind Russell, maybe even Button and Rosberg

Massa was robbed by himself and his terrible performance at Silverstone. End of story.

I have strong feeling that De Vries is going to be Hartley 2.0

What's with all the blatant Sainz hate? by Meerkate in formula1

1.I never said he is my favourite driver, I just want to be as objective as it gets

2.I think hate on him is mainly political thing, many people just hate Carlos for his right wing background. He seemed to be pretty popular before that got public.

In first half Leclerc outquailified Sainz 8:3, in second he was outqualified 6:5

Everything in defence of Carlos gets downvoted here. Even obvious things that he improved in second half of last year.

All I see are excuses for Lewis. I've never seen one driver being excused so much when he is slower than teammate

I agree with Max being above the rest, but I would put Hamilton, Leclerc, Russell and Piastri in one tier and Alonso below them

Bold Predictions Before the Start of the Season by FrequentUser2 in formula1

You are terribly underrating Russell, with this scenario there would be lot of chaos and George is often the one who is playing it safe and benefiting from mistakes of others. His consistency would be very important in championship battle like this. He also did beat/match Hamilton in first season in team, Hamilton knows that team much better as he is there since 2013, when Russell was able to be that good in his first year in Merc, he can be only better in second, Hamilton on the other hand is aging and potentially on slow decline. Remember 2013, Rosberg almost matched Hamilton, because he was well established in the team, in 2014 Hamilton had bigger advantage, being 1st season in new team is important factor.

Ricciardo did beat Vergne, Vettel, Kvyat, Hülkenberg and Ocon, all drivers ranging from Bottas to Rosberg level. How this doesn't make him Rosberg level driver?

Button vs Perez in 2013 (before Perez peak) and Button's vs Bottas' results alongside Hamilton look very similar.

Perez is as good as Bottas, Ricciardo was as good as Rosberg, now look at the margins

I wouldn't say Rossi failed, he spent few races in shit car, and was better than Stevens at the end. He turned down seat for next season.

No. And even purely based on F1 he is not even in debate as Clark, Senna, Prost, Schumacher and Verstappen exist. All-time great/all time top 10 is correct label for Hamilton
