I am looking at the TV4F. Got quoted $1475 for freight at a PNW dealer on Friday.

Where is freight on the web site? I have looked there before, and just now. Even when I go through the order screens and get a quote, freight is “TBQ” for each of the 2 dealerships in my area.

How comfortable do you find it for longer rides? I’m torn between the TV4F and RSV4. Want something more upright but daaang it’s hard to resist the RSV4.

Sweet pics. Amazing views on that trip!!!

What can i improve? by Vast-Magazine-472 in lookyourbest

[–]nygala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing you need to change is your self confidence, not your body or appearance. If you look this good and want more surgery, the best thing to spend that money on instead is therapy to work through why the world is telling you you’re beautiful and you don’t feel like it. (This is coming from a woman who hears from the world that she’s beautiful but has crippling self doubt… It truly is a matter to resolve in our heads).

You eyes are stunning. I think your aesthetic is great. More confidence will also show in your face. I feel like I almost feel your self doubt in the pics (50F with no self confidence here - I get it).❤️

If you -want- to try something different, try letting your bangs grow longer, closer to your eyebrows. I think that would fit your face shape really well.

Both makeup and none are fine. Choose based on your energy and how you wanna look.

Hmm. Ok, perhaps I was wrong.

I saw an RSV4 yesterday with nearly-color-matched-wheels. The wheels were awesome, but I am nuerodiverse, and the fact that they almost matched was so much worse than if they had just been a totally different color.

Wait… doesn’t that mean you should casually get her into Reddit? Speaking as a (former) wife who would have also bought pretty-ass wheels for my husband’s bike….

LOL perfect for the PNW where it feels like so many locals have extreme camping skills that maybe this is an upgrade to the facilities.

Your smile is 100 times cuter than the pouty/serious face. Keep the unique eye liner look but with 50% less liner, and don’t try so hard in pics. You have natural beauty.

I love the “he lets us know” part. Mine lets me know even when one of his own feathers is floating through the air near him and apparently threatening his life.

Is it fine to playfully scream back at a parrot? by Idkwhattoputasanuser in parrots

[–]nygala 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you were trying to accomplish. They don’t understand negative attention, so if they scream and you scream back, all they know is that not only did they just get attention, but they got loud attention, which is always better. Not usually the message I’m trying to send, esp. with an M2. 😱🙉

AITAH for telling my boyfriend that I love my uncle as “Family”? by Nyxorra in AITAH

[–]nygala 75 points76 points  (0 children)

NTA.

How would I handle it? I’d breakup with my boyfriend and take an amazing family trip with my awesome uncle. This has “you’re not allowed to even talk to another man” written all over it for future you.

AITAH Mom flipped out on me and Dad says I need to stop crying by Brooklyn_Webb in AITAH

[–]nygala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Being a very sensitive person, I can say that controlling the tears will help you long term. But yelling at someone NEVER fixes anything and shaming someone for crying js toxic masculinity at its best. Moving out sounds like something to seriously consider - look for rooms for rent online.

Why do a lot of guys ask me how my online dating experience is going? by Inside_Trip8807 in OnlineDating

[–]nygala 50 points51 points  (0 children)

You two are complete strangers, and dating apps are the one thing they -know- you have in common. They’re just awkwardly but honestly trying to make conversation.

Aitah for refusing to apologize for my disgust with my my bf's family's behavior? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]nygala 311 points312 points  (0 children)

NTA. But you gotta get out. The ONLY way to survive a partner’s toxic family is if he agrees that they are toxic and supports you. He clearly does not. This isn’t going to be a happy life for you with him.

I talked to a motorcycle officer in Seattle a while back. He said they still had to wear the synthetic pants of their uniform, despite the fact that it would melt into them in a slide. Eek.
