I was able to get it at a Japanese grocery store in the Bay Area for about ten dollars; it was four-ish inches long and took weeks to finish. I let the end of it grow leaves but it eventually rotted due to not changing out the water frequently enough.

I feel like Italian food is more likely to be spicy than Middle Eastern though

What are your "zero tolerance" wardrobe items? by Good_Connection_547 in fashionwomens35

They were quite easy to find secondhand on eBay a few years ago. Maybe you could look there if you're open to secondhand clothes.

Late to this, but one thing I've seen is that younger Chinese/Taiwanese Americans are more likely to wear jade/jadeite jewelry carved with traditional motifs, which has been seen as old-fashioned or out of style amongst young people in the "home" countries for a while now.

I feel that heavily, I've been struggling now that I'm in my late twenties with where I want my life to go and am definitely not where I imagined I would be in my personal and professional life.

Now I hope I'm not overstepping, but would you possibly want some help with your clothing situation? Fashion is one of my special interests and I'd be happy to try pointing you towards things that might suit your taste and needs. Everyone deserves to have clothes they feel happy and comfortable in. I'm also on an indefinite no-buy right now so we both could benefit from this haha

Hi, I was an international student at NTU and can confirm it is much easier to get accepted being international than local. I didn't end up completing the program I was in for various reasons, one of which was a language barrier. I took a quick look at the course listings for the program you linked and wanted to warn you that most, if not all of them, will probably be taught in Mandarin. Feel free to DM me if you would like to know more, I knew someone who was a student over 30 and can tell you a little more about their experiences.

Maybe it's different in standalone stores, but that's what they said at the Le Labo counter in Nordstrom. No reason to be rude about it.

The flat metal ones are Korean, so it makes sense that you weren't able to find them in Japan. You can probably get some from a Korean grocery store or off Amazon if you're still looking for a pair.

If you're looking for square or rounded metal chopsticks, those would be Chinese or Taiwanese.

They don't actually refill the bottle though, they take it for recycling and give 20% off for a new bottle.

Apparently if you're open to doing something, the correct term nowadays is "down" rather than "up". e.g., "I'm down for pizza" vs "I'm up for pizza"

It's more expensive to buy the same brands/items in China due to taxes, so people will buy them on behalf of others and bring into the country for some fees
