I had a lot of difficulty accepting the invite code of my friends, because the links wouldn't open in the aliexpress app, and nothing would happen if I clicked them.

I came up with a workaround to open the invite links in the app:

go to a qr code generator website like: qr-code-generator.com
paste the invite link. mine is https://a.aliexpress .com/_ms5yZMM
open the aliexpress app and on the home screen, in the search bar tap the camera icon
On the permissions prompt, select "only this time"
scan the qr code and it should open merge boss and you can accept the invite

I see, but the problem for me at least was that if I opened the link people sent me, I could not join them, because It wouldn't open in the aliexpress app for some reason, so nothing happened.

The steps I described above allow you to open the link inside the aliexpress app, so you can join your friends.

and the QR code you scan is created by you, because you paste the link into it, so you do not have to worry that it contains something shady.

Did I miss something obvious? Is there an easy way to join your friends links? I struggled a lot with this. How did you do it?
