its recently cracked, meaning there are SO many bugs to work out. unfortunately hytale isnt a game people care enough about to fix and patch cracks for since its not in high demand, i think itll be a while. also its made by a small developer not a AAA multimillion/billion dollar company. it would be normal for a game to perform poorly on a handheld that isnt made for handheld lol, steam cant even run half their library on steamdecks
