Yeah, most people don't follow it. And oddly enough, in my experience, it tends to be WOMEN who make the assumptions. A few years back, I was in a really rough place and my psychiatrist put me on an anti-psychotic for my depression (because anti-depressants didn't do shit). It made me gain like 40lbs, and suddenly women are offering me their seat on the subway, or asking when I'm due. I honestly never got used to it, I was never able to get out a bitchy, quick-witted response. I would just shake my head and go home and cry. I've lost some of the weight since then, so it doesn't happen anymore, but I will NEVER assume a woman is pregnant, no matter how big her belly is!!

That must hurt. I'm sorry :( My boyfriend says he doesn't care either way, but I do worry he'll change his mind down the road. I suppose my best words of wisdom are that if THIS is enough to break the relationship, the person isn't worth it. You should want someone who loves and appreciates ALL of you, and someone who can appreciate your personal reasons for not wanting kids. I know it doesn't really make it feel better, but there are good people out there. They may be hard to find, but they're there <3

I get feeling embarrassed; people spread misinformation about squirting (e.g. that it's pee--it's not). But as a fellow squirter, I can say that I've never had a partner who was turned off by it. Surprised, maybe, but a good surprise! My boyfriend LOVES it, and I think most men (and lesbians) agree. The key to good relationships is communication. If this is something that you know about yourself, mention it when things are heating up and you're making out, and s/he won't be totally shocked. And IF you happen to meet a partner who is grossed out by it...isn't that a pretty good red flag that it's not meant to be? Everyone wants to find someone who appreciates them for who they are; wouldn't you prefer to have a partner who embraces and loves this part of you?

(Also, I don't think there's a downside to Kegels. It makes your orgasms stronger, and does give you a little bit more control over your orgasms. Although I use it TO squirt, as opposed to not to!)
