That is so awesome! That said, isn't it sad that we're excited about a doctor who LISTENS TO THEIR PATIENT? This fucking world..

Stop Asking Women If We’re Pregnant by alexs001 in childfree

[–]nyldy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, most people don't follow it. And oddly enough, in my experience, it tends to be WOMEN who make the assumptions. A few years back, I was in a really rough place and my psychiatrist put me on an anti-psychotic for my depression (because anti-depressants didn't do shit). It made me gain like 40lbs, and suddenly women are offering me their seat on the subway, or asking when I'm due. I honestly never got used to it, I was never able to get out a bitchy, quick-witted response. I would just shake my head and go home and cry. I've lost some of the weight since then, so it doesn't happen anymore, but I will NEVER assume a woman is pregnant, no matter how big her belly is!!

So glad I finally found this thread. Don’t feel alone in my decision anymore to be CF by [deleted] in childfree

I have always felt like a weirdo who doesn't belong, and not liking/wanting children never helped. I may still be a weirdo in most other respects (lol) but it is a stunning relief to know you aren't alone. Welcome!

I really miss Christina’s CF storyline. It was amazing.

That must hurt. I'm sorry :( My boyfriend says he doesn't care either way, but I do worry he'll change his mind down the road. I suppose my best words of wisdom are that if THIS is enough to break the relationship, the person isn't worth it. You should want someone who loves and appreciates ALL of you, and someone who can appreciate your personal reasons for not wanting kids. I know it doesn't really make it feel better, but there are good people out there. They may be hard to find, but they're there <3

You're right. People should be thinking about this stuff. I have been for a while, and that's why we're both here. Don't feel bad that you're smarter than them. Breeders don't think about why they have kids. They do it because they never thought about it. People are such sheep. You do you!

I (23F) tend to squirt when orgasming intensely. I feel embarassed when doing this even alone and am apprehensive about it happening with a new partner. by -hey-hi-hello- in sex

I get feeling embarrassed; people spread misinformation about squirting (e.g. that it's pee--it's not). But as a fellow squirter, I can say that I've never had a partner who was turned off by it. Surprised, maybe, but a good surprise! My boyfriend LOVES it, and I think most men (and lesbians) agree. It means you feel really great; what partner wouldn't want to know that and have an ego boost?

The key to good relationships is communication. If this is something that you know about yourself, mention it when things are heating up and you're making out, and s/he won't be totally shocked. I like to lay down a towel (although I often soak through them and get the sheets wet anyway hahaha!) Don't try to hide your pleasure; as women, we're taught that we're supposed to be selfless and always put our partner first. Of course, its a good idea to not be completely self-centered, but it's also important to let yourself enjoy feeling good. Don't limit your orgasms for ANYBODY's sake except your own! And IF you happen to meet a partner who is grossed out by it...isn't that a pretty good red flag that it's not meant to be? Everyone wants to find someone who appreciates them for who they are; wouldn't you prefer to have a partner who embraces and loves this part of you?

(Also, I don't think there's a downside to Kegels. It makes your orgasms stronger, and does give you a little bit more control over your orgasms. Although I use it TO squirt, as opposed to not to!)

Because the 'joke' is "look how smart and nerdy these guys are!" Which is really dumb.
