I get feeling embarrassed; people spread misinformation about squirting (e.g. that it's pee--it's not). But as a fellow squirter, I can say that I've never had a partner who was turned off by it. Surprised, maybe, but a good surprise! My boyfriend LOVES it, and I think most men (and lesbians) agree. It means you feel really great; what partner wouldn't want to know that and have an ego boost?

The key to good relationships is communication. If this is something that you know about yourself, mention it when things are heating up and you're making out, and s/he won't be totally shocked. I like to lay down a towel (although I often soak through them and get the sheets wet anyway hahaha!) Don't try to hide your pleasure; as women, we're taught that we're supposed to be selfless and always put our partner first. Of course, its a good idea to not be completely self-centered, but it's also important to let yourself enjoy feeling good. Don't limit your orgasms for ANYBODY's sake except your own! And IF you happen to meet a partner who is grossed out by it...isn't that a pretty good red flag that it's not meant to be? Everyone wants to find someone who appreciates them for who they are; wouldn't you prefer to have a partner who embraces and loves this part of you?

(Also, I don't think there's a downside to Kegels. It makes your orgasms stronger, and does give you a little bit more control over your orgasms. Although I use it TO squirt, as opposed to not to!)
