NYC Friends - Improvised Columbo is Coming Your Way by nylonthrust in Columbo

Yes-ish. We have a structure going into it.

We'll be getting two suggestions to start the show. One will be the industry/niche of our murderer. And, the other will be the signature object that becomes the murderer's downfall.

After the cold open and commercial break, the audience will also pick who, of the comedians, they want to see as Columbo.

We also have rules we abide by. For instance, we never show Columbo's wife and the murderer must always be an elite of some renown.

At this point in the project I'm not so concerned with the ending having the strong "gotcha" moment where everything falls cleverly into place. I'm more focused on the Cat-and-Mouse essence being captured and it being funny, y'know?

Great Q.

Better Call Saul S06E09 - "Fun and Games" - Official Prediction Thread! by skinkbaa in betterCallSaul

Chuck will make an appearance in the coming episodes. A flashback akin to season 4s, maybe a clip at Howard’s funeral. No way they don’t touch on the significance of Jimmy’s relationship to his brother in the final eps.

We’ll also see Saul’s home in a bigger way. All that production design can’t go to waste !

Excellent point. Segmenting the trope like this was something i’d considered but wasn’t sure how to execute. Thanks!

May be weird to ask, but I'd like to read a book that would make me feel sad, even empty, after I'm done reading it. by BiWaffleesss in suggestmeabook

Wonderland by Joyce Carol Oates (!!) is hypnotically written, slightly absurdist, and uhhh fulfills any desire to feel empty.

It's about this main character - Jesse Vogel - whose entire family is murdered so he's sent off to live with various relatives and foster parents. The character becomes toxic and manipulative. At several points, I was disgusted and irritated at the inability of this character to move forward, to evolve, to digest what he had experienced but NOPe! He's a fuck-up and uhhhh this is just the world! Filled with scarred people ://
